![]() Wednesday, 28th Jul 2010 10:02 County are in for another season of struggle according to the odds the bookmakers have given us for relegation this season. Last year the bookies tipped us for the drop from League One and sadly they got it spot on as we finished bottom of the table with just 25 points from 46 games. Hopefully we'll prove the so-called experts wrong this time around! The Hatters have recently spent 14 months in administration and endured a dreadful campaign last time out, so it is no surprise that the bookies have once again named us amongst the favourites for the drop. New manager Paul Simpson is still trying to get a squad in place to compete in League Two and doesn't expect everything to be in place for when the new season kicks off in just 10 days time so we could suffer a poor start which hopefully won't have a knock on effect for the rest of the campaign. After a summer of uncertainty surrounding our future, all County fans will no doubt be ecstatic for the team to finish upwards of 22nd place next season. Accrington Stanley have also been picked out as favourites for the drop as well as both us are 10/3 for the drop with William Hill. The best odds you can get for County to win the npower League Two trophy are 25/1 with bwin.com - Bradford City and Gillingham are the two favourites for the title this season.
