codge added 21:31 - May 3 Quite honestly the only ones who deserve credit are the fans to me they were the only ones who turned up and showed a true spirit, week after week they have been great just a shame we can’t say that about the team. Block8 added 09:25 - May 4 Difficult to know where to start, anyone who has ever watched a low level Sunday morning game, with both sides hanging, would have seen a better game than this! El Crapico was spot on, two very poor teams, of which we were the worst! Our passing was dreadful, defending was non-existent (Vardy had time to go through the papers on his wife's court case & still have time for tea before scoring the first) and attack looked like something none of them understood. It seems to me that if we had appointed a new manager, after Juric, this bunch of no hopers would have destroyed his credibility, with the fans and hampered him prior to the rebuild that is so obviously required. SR's biggest problem now is trying to unload the dross, of which there is plenty and start again and if they don't get it right this time we could do a Luton! dirk_doone added 09:40 - May 4 With the abysmal performances of the likes of Cameron Archer, Ross Stewart and Will Smallbone, it should be possible to award a score of 0 as they really don't deserve 1. harrapuk added 09:52 - May 4 We were given false hope as on paper Leicester,s recent form has been even worse than ours. But thr reality was that Leicester were streets ahead of us. They attacked with pace and had chances to score more. I cannot remember one dangerous attack from us. Gary Birtles on the commentary said some really stupid thing but even he could see that there was just no urgency in our play, stoll knocking it side to side and backwards despite the change of manager. Once again we looked better with four at 5he back. The only time that 5 has worked was when the pacey Rueben Agboola played as sweeper. Those were the days! Bawdrip added 10:59 - May 4 Woeful! A really insipid performance in a dreadful match. Defending was awful for the first goal and a stupid free kick for the second. Powder puff attack never really threatened to pull a goal back. I was optimistic before the game we'd get a draw given Leicester's problems but we lacked effort and application. I've seen many awful performances home and away this season but I think this was the most depressing. The support was good to begin with and tried to encourage the team but they totally failed to respond. The prolonged 30 mins Matty Fernandez chant I found hugely irritating and misplaced. I'm fine with protesting but Rusk isn't the problem. I wasn't happy with the substitutions but the fact is Fernandez was ill last week, then was stuck in Portugal due to the power cut after dealing with family issues. He was late rejoining the team last week. He used subs to try and liven things up with Fernandez fading after playing well. Sulemana played OK but again no end product. Poor Stewart had absolutely no service. For me the whole team had an off day. I've no idea where we go from here. A long trip from Somerset for absolutely nothing. SaintPaulVW added 11:48 - May 4 I can't blame Rusk who has done a good job after being parachuted in twice with limited resources. Fans again did Saints proud. However our attackers can't score and our defenders can't defend. Midfield is ok - Les still can't seem to concentrate tho, lots of silly lost balls. How a professional team can leave Vardy completely unmarked in the box just escapes me. Players looked like they were playing a pres season exhibition match rather than going after the single point needed to escape a humiliation. Given Fernandes, KWP and Ramsdale will be long gone next season, the only 2 I think I would keep are Downes and Manning, the rest can politely get in the sea.
