Scott Sinclair on 00:25 - Feb 26 by Liberty | Routledge, at this moment in time is miles ahead of Sinclair. Sinclair needs game time and at moment thats looking unlikely. Don't know what Garry thinks of him, cheeky bid in summer if he believes in him. [Post edited 26 Feb 2014 0:40]

Haha. Do you mean totally unproven (apart from the successful full season with us that earnt him a gig at the league champions)?

Would be crowded out in Laudrup's style and lacks the precision of the required link play with a striker or No.10. Would be well at Cardiff in the Championship if they want a prove goal scorer. Should stay North with Leeds or in London with QPR if he wants game time. Thanks for the memories.

I worded that badly. Routledge has not had a long run to prove himself in past with us in prem, now he has a run in team he looks full of confidence and proven himself. Scott has plenty of prem experience, Chelsea, Wigan and us. I feel that Routledge now is a better winger than Scott was when with us. Routs much better at beating his man and deliverng a cross. Scott ahead of Lamah ? Quite possibly. [Post edited 26 Feb 2014 1:07]

The only stat that matters is games played. FWIW I believe that he would have suited Laudrup's style, but would be of less use to us now.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Scott Sinclair on 08:29 - Feb 26 with 1863 views | Townhill_Hilton | Reckon he's moved on, so have we. Why would you want him back. He's no Leon.
Scott Sinclair on 12:27 - Feb 26 with 1789 views | A_Fans_Dad | To be fair the health problem that he had seriously affected his playing ability. He has taken a while to build back up.
Scott Sinclair on 13:03 - Feb 26 with 1748 views | Catullus | Sinclair's premier experience is mostly bench warming. Didn't get on the pitch much at Wigan and hasn't done anything to suggest he much more than a good championship winger. Routledge is far more effective. And about stats, I can't remember but how many of SS's goals were penaltys? I'm not knocking what he did for us, he was fantastic. But he's gone backwards at a rate of knots since he left. He's not good enough for us now. We don't have the time to get him back up to speed, not at his wage level.

He was the business for us in the Championship, right enough. It does seem very churlish to knock him.

I'm not knocking him but he was extremely average in his one and only Prem season with us.

Yeah I think I saw that game when Orlandi was on form.

Yes a good article indeed.
Scott Sinclair on 18:20 - Feb 26 with 1536 views | Catullus | That's a great article. It's proof no young player should ever join Chelsea. Just look at the young talent they waste. Sturridge and Lukaku are prime examples. What a strike force they'd make!! But if anyone expects an agent to act in the interests of anything other than making money, they will nearly always be disappointed. And even with that knowledge young players will still sign up and charge sheep like into obscurity. Why Chelsea haven't given Lukaku (in particular) a go really puzzles me. WBA were only any good with him, Everton struggle without him too. He's a regular scorer in poor teams, powerful and quick. I'd have him here in a heartbeat.

Scott Sinclair on 22:19 - Feb 26 with 1456 views | Liberty | I have a feeling we may sign him at end of season. Garry and most of squad know him, has prem experience, better than some in our squad, could afford the transfer fee. if he is happy with pay cut to play, and happy to live here it could well happen.

What sort of transfer fee, do you think? Better that who in our squad? Prem experience? well with us, he was very much hit and miss - much more misses than hits, unfortunately, and has hardly played at all in 2 years. I think a lot or people look on Scott with rose coloured glasses, because of what he did in the Championship.

I have already said in this thread that I dont think we should sign him and that I dont want to sign him. but answering your q's, He would cost little, million or two. Lamah looks no better to me, but not proven himself yet, few chances. we dont have many natural options on left wing, after Routledge.

So, we're going to be limited to signing ex Swans players now? We have an extensive scouting network (as long as they play for Middlesbro')

Yeah, for a million, or even 2, he would be a tidy buy, but I would not put him in from of the Routs, Pablo or Dyer. Lamah, has shows glimpses that he can be good, but he is only on loan, so we might not keep him anyway - think he is a free agent at the end of the loan tho'

Dyer great down the right, not so down the left. Hernandez not great down either flank.
