He never had game the game time which players need to build up momentum. We should have brought him back to have another look at him in Frankie's set up. At any rate we should have not got rid of him until we had a replacement lined up. Unfortunately there seems to be more players lined up to go out the door than those coming in at the moment. |  |

Sorry but he looked as bad as any of the other second string strikers we've had. Didn't have much game time admittedly but didn't look to have anything about him when I saw him to suggest he could do a job in this league. Did more in this game as a sub than he did for us.
Not to say he couldn't do a job in another league. He had a decent shot on target and it went in. Shall we sign HRK in the basis of a Cruyff turn? | | | |

The other second string strikers we had weren't playing in Monk's diamond with the ball getting forward slower than continental drift.
I'm not saying he was good. I'm just saying we didn't exactly give him much opportunity to prove either way. Certainly not enough opportunity to deserve the kind of opprobrium he gets.
