Sevilla want him. He isn’t a bad player by any means. Probably more talented than any of our other midfielders last season.
He’s not a dog though and neither Clement nor Carlos wanted to play with a quarterback type midfielder, they wanted us to be hard to break down and to shield our back three so we could scrape the odd clean sheet, Creativity wasn’t high on the agenda.
He was often out of position when we didn’t have possession though and if he is actually a functioning alcoholic, that hardly helps. | | | |
