Neither. But the player hasn’t performed well enough yet that’s true.
Guehi, like Gallagher came from Chelsea with a good reputation but he hasn’t adapted well (yet) to the big step up to the Championship. More pressure, bigger crowds, a higher expectation etc. He’s looked nervous, edgy, indecisive and at times even clumsy lacking confidence too it seems although it’s his first taste of League football. It’s not Coopers fault that Rodon and VDH have missed out with injury. He’s given Guehi his chance which he hasn’t taken so I’m sure that his position is seriously under threat for the Huddersfield game.
