Thought I'd chuck this one out there.
I'm bit old school, remember loving the Coleman footy commentaries...ONE NIL . Also liked Huw Johns/footy.
Fckn couldn't stand Brian Moore.
As for other sports....Ian Dark/boxing....Peter Allis/golf
Bumble/Benaud...cricket. .

Barry Davies.

Andrew Cotter is coming up fast on the rails though, if only for the dog commentary videos he's putting on Youtube.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Used to love the radio football commentaries in work back in the day.
Peter Jones, Bryon Butler and Mike Ingham, never keen on Alan Green

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
Poll: Happy to see Martin go

High praise indeed.

Who’s the geordie bloke on American tv who comes out with the most imaginative and excitable shit whilst his boring American counterpart is trying to analyse the plays?

He’s great.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Benaud, CMJ, Jim Maxwell, Boycs.

Locally, Edward Bevan and Don were the sound of my summer growing up.

Alan Green at his peak (the slightly less miserable carnation), Mike Ingham.

Mike Costello boxing.

Can’t go far wrong with TMS, listened to them all for years. Also Dan Maskell , tennis , and for those of you watching in black and white “the pink is the ball next to the green” Whispering Ted Lowe.

Brian "Johnners" Johnston and Eddie Butler for me (Eddie gets lots of stick but really is a lovely bloke).

Murray Walker for having such raw unbridled passion for what is undoubtedly one of the most boring sports in the world.
