What do we know about Reading FC ?
Monty Don isn’t a Reading supporter, for those that don’t know Monty, ( most people who use that moniker are very cowardly) he is a gardener, but not really because he only grows weeds and when nobody is looking he glues flowers on them. Then he says ‘ ohhhh look what I’ve done, I’m a gardener’ He mainly scoops up loads of compost, which is basically shit, and puts it in different places, in fact he does this so often you would have thought he was a Cardiff fan, he can’t be though because his hair is too curly and he is too tall.

Monty Don with his dog, who is possibly dead, but not in this picture.

Ayrton Senna was born in Reading, he lived there until he won some racing competitions in a car. Senna was born in a house in Chelsea Close, Reading and only sold it when he was about eleven years old to buy a new car. In those days he was known as Brian or Knobhead ( to his mum)

Proof Ayrton Senna is from Reading.

Reading is the only village in the Englands to be called a town, that’s quite a feat. Also just outside Reading is Broadmoor hospital where the more bloody frightening folk in the country are sent when they scare the shit out of people or kill them, whichever comes first. Not everyone who is sent to Broadmoor is dangerous, although that’s a qualification for most people to get in to the building. A little known fact is the ‘Silent Twins’ from West Wales were sent there after they set fire to a lot of the town of Haverfordwest. Their names were June and Jennifer Gibbons. One is now dead and the other lives in Haverfordwest where the sale of fire extinguishers shot up on her return home.

In the last thirteen games played between Swansea City and Reading the Swans haven’t lost any games, winning eight and drawing five. Swansea have scored twenty four goals in those games winning two of them 4-1 away.

Latibeaudiere looks yet another very good addition by Cooper.

I'd be tempted to bring Dhanda on and take Palmer off

Yep, we've lost momentum since he came on and keeps losing the ball.

Frustrating, did everything but score.

Reading keeper earned them the draw. One of those days where nothing goes in.

No complaints from me.

How many free kicks did he give away? Poor every time I see him. Really hope Bristol drag him back.

We played well, on another day we win by 2 or 3. They barely had a chance.

Good performance today a bit unlucky we dominated against a top 6 teams just could not get the luck with the goal.

I was relieved with a point after the way we faded at the end - send Palmer back. Still think a real number 9 would make all the difference (would keep JL in a wider position).

Me neither, very solid performance in fact one of our better ones - just not our day in front of goal.

Let’s hope Scott has a decent striker lined up.

6th clean sheet in our last 7 games. Incredible really, especially when you consider at one point all 3 CB's were 20 years old for us today.

He doesn’t just lose it, he gives it away. He also commits stupid fouls in dangerous areas. He’s been a bit of a disaster I’d say.

Not the best advert for him as a player.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Shocking substitutions in the second half, may as well have waved a white flag.
Enjoyed our play but TBH it was easy for Reading, by the 70th minute we were predictable and Cooper eventually bright on two weaker players to try to do the same as hadn’t worked.
Wonderfully organised defence and so impressed with Cabango who based the back line after Bennett went off.

Think Cabango needs to stop these cross field passes though, can’t think of any which have come off.

Be a huge few weeks for him now with Bennett being out (assuming)

We didn’t lose, kept a clean one, I think that’s ok, yes a bit miffed like, fibbing keeper on form, but there it is. Watford next, doesn’t get any easier.

OK I've changed it.

“ Easy for Reading “

The man of the match was their keeper with some fine saves and if Andre had been on form it would have been a comfortable win for us. We played really well & deserved the three points but as we all know you don’t always get what you thoroughly deserve

Re the subs: The lack of real quality options illustrates the fact that our squad isn’t as strong ( in depth ) as some think. Palmer was terrible tonight and Gyökeres looks ponderous always doesn’t he.

But you keep having a side swipe at Cooper. Whatever floats your boat. 👍
