Aggressive? I would hope any footballer who is earning several hundreds of thousands if not millions a year needs a reality check if they can’t be arsed to train properly or put the effort in to be the best they can be. It’s not asking a lot. They are getting paid stupid amounts of money so the club and supporters have every right to insist they apply themselves in a professional manner. I do concede that perhaps Russell Martin should keep disciplinary matters “in house”. But hopefully this will be the kick up the arse Obafemi needs. He’s got the support from the stands already, they sing his name the minute he comes on. Not a lot of players get that after years of being here. He’s a very lucky boy and should realise it. |  | |  |

He’s lucky Russell Martin said something, otherwise photographs and other evidence would have been provided, the fact the manager said it was enough confirmation. Why any young man with the world at his feet would believe he has the right to undermine his manager, a man who has a very unique and special way of developing people is beyond me. And then commit more disciplinary offences, including not being able to turn up for work at 10am in the morning ! And there’s more.
Aggressive article, if anyone thinks that was aggressive they don’t know me, I have documented writing and tv, radio and personal contacts with people since 1996 when we took on the criminals who ran the club apart. And for many years on from that. In the flesh, here, and for all to see ðŸ‘

I think the legend that came from Southampton, didn't have anything like the ego and attitude Obafemi seems to have, just my opinion after seeing him play a few times for us and watching his mannerism's. |  |
