OK pet , despite the evidence to the contrary you continue to live in your bubble of misinformation, lies and deceit .They left licking their wounds with substantial losses of men and material ., that is not for debate .They withdrew because they were beaten back by an opponent with good defences, better equipment , better tactics and high morale. They weren't reliant on extended supply lines which were repeatedly being disrupted and in parts destroyed ,So can try and dress it up any way you like but so far Ukraine has more than held its own despite what you think and that will continue. the longer this goes on the longer the sanctions will last and take a biting hold , the reliance on fossils fuels for the west will diminish and with it an economic collapse of the Russian economic will ensue. Putin appears not have long left in this world . hopefully sooner rather than later .

Putin looks a lot worse now than he did 2 months ago. Maybe the rumours are true, maybe he wanted to go out in (what he thought) would be a blaze of glory, an eternal hero of the Russian people.
Whatever he wanted, looks like he's going out on the end of a good old can of whoopass, but it's his ass getting whooped.

A few " experts" believe he's suffering from cancer (wishful thinking who knows) with signs of being facially bloated , hand tremors , agitated and hopefully can't get a good nights sleep ( that's my wishful thinking) .This invasion is his "hurrah" before he falls off the mortal coil of life . Pity it wasn't him and his cohorts getting their arses whooped but is in war it never is . "Older men declare war. But it is youth that must fight and die." Herbert Hoover

There's clearly something up with him.
Whether that's cancer, parkinsons, steroids or just botox injections gone wrong who knows?
He's a different man from the topless guy who was pictured on horseback. I'm sure some people have that photo on their walls though.

He is constantly pictured with Yevgeny Selivanov who is an oncologist that specialises in thyroid cancer. He’s also constantly visited by other known ENT specialists. Of course TC is very treatable when caught early so I don’t think there’s any threat to his survival unfortunately but it would explain his physical deterioration, his bloated pale face and his reluctance to be near anyone during the pandemic.

Putin’s also retreating from his annual ice hockey match where he usually scores an average of ten goals because nobody will go near him or try to defend whilst he’s got the puck.
He may be trying to avoid hilarious incidents like this though.

I think you'll find (as I'm sure the kremlin will announce ) its yet another strategic withdrawal, vey similar to the Arabs vs. Israel in the Yom Kippur War .That didn't end well for the arabs either

Would this be a strategic withdrawal by the Ukranians?
Firstly I must congratulate you on your ability to have found (at last) a credible source from which you've copied a link, hopefully it won't be the last . Regarding Popasna, in a war of this magnitude you will always find small areas where the aggressor /defender will win and lose ground, sometimes in matter of hours or days .Now whether the withdrawal was part of the bigger picture in that Ukraine are no longer holding ground and retreating en masse is not known but reading the information being disseminated daily by the "experts" it looks like Ukraine are indeed pushing the enemy and winning back areas and whilst doing so inflicting heavy casualties. This isn't going well for Russia at all .

Even if the Ukraine are able to hold off Russian advances and maybe even local counter attacks , which is doubtful, they do not have the capabilities or resources to mount large scale continuous operations against the Russian military.
The Russians are making advances everywhere in the East and it's only a matter of time before the Ukrainian army collapses. What Russia will do then is anyone's guess, but the Ukrainian ppl will suffer because of it

Even the greatest Generals/Commanders have had to give and take ground in battles and wars, Wellington had to retreat from Burgos to Cuidad Rodrigo before going on to over all victory. The Russians themselves retreated before Hitler using a scorched earth policy while they prepared themselves. The Russian apologists though, they see ANY small gain by Russia as total proof that Ukraine is crumbling.

Still a couple of Russian supporters praising Russia's invasion of the Ukraine and the deliberate targeting of civilians leading to deaths of thousands of women, children as well as tye execution of men.
Russian claims are getting bizarre by the day. Russia's latest claim that it is surrounded by NATO countries when in fact only 6% of its land mass borders Russia. Mind you that will increase as countries like Finland and Sweden are considered the future security of their countries.
What has that got do with this thread ? you're really struggling now to maintain any credibility, you're floundering with your mixed up emotions as you have an obvious dislike of the west which is being interspersed with Russian propaganda , try thinking for your self instead of just throwing meaningless one liners which have nothing to do with the subject matter .

50 year old whataboutery, it's getting desperate.
British soldiers have been investigated and threatened with court proceedings over civilian shootings. The IRA got a pardon though, a get out of jail free card and it all came to a halt.

There is no justification for the Russian invasion of a sovereign country. There is no justification for Russian Missile to target hospitals, schools civilians housing. There is no justification for a Russia to murder women and children. There is no justification for Russians to execute prisoners or War. There is no justification for Russia to execute male civilians over 14 .

What would you like to debate or justify?
You would really have to understand the root causes of this conflict to debate, and you don't. It's black and white to you, Putin bad, Zelensky good. The west good Russia bad. There's no debating with simplicity like that
