Is Hurford a local boy then? Assumed he was seeing as he came from Briton Ferry?

5 goals in 4 games for Briton Ferry seniors apparently. Impressive for a 17year old.

Not sure where he's from originally. Was with Chippenham until this season. Short visit to the Cymru South.

Joe Thomas has represented Wales in futsal (u19s capt).

New contracts for Dan Williams and Lincoln McFayden.

Your input on youth is invaluable, the latter two should have had a run out on Saturday. Just can’t work out why Fulton and Dhanda had a look in.

Two out in Adrian Akande and Kieran Petrie. Wingers signed for development sides that no longer want to use wingers. Both on pro deals that have had to be paid off. Akande's had injuries and probably hasn't developed as expected, but he left Chelsea because they didn't use wingers at the time, and saw no opportunity to progress there. A lot of big clubs wanted him on scholarship. Interesting to see what happens next for him, was told he had the drive in abundance, but that can take different forms if things don't go your way...

Sam Leverett extended for another season. Jacob Jones till the end of this one.

Said it elsewhere couoldnt understand the logic of playing Fulton or Dhanda cup tieing them making them even less attractive to potential takers?

What was MArtin's thinking...already clearly stated they are not part of his future plans then cup ties them

As I said elswehre in agreement with this Dan should hve taken Fultons place

Shows poor thinking from Allen too

Wouldn't we be better persisting and maybe trying to convert Akande as a wing back or a striker?

Instead of having to pay his contract?

Club may feel we have better options in those areas. The two new signings are wingbacks, with Hurford also playing attacking midfield. The player would also have a say. If he doesn't want to hang around for 18 months "trying to convert" then a smaller payout lets him pursue better opportunities right away. Which is what he attempted to do before when Chelsea would have been happy to keep him on scholarship there.

It's a shame because there was a lot of buzz about him two years ago, but there's only so many opportunities to go around.
