Groundhog season on the horizon.
at 10:36 25 Oct 2025

Spot on

Regards our attacks we also seem ro strive to use our left hand side and Ttmon as iur main focus.
This was very noticable in Wednesday...we seem to have the sideways passing untill we can create an ioening down that side.
There were lots if occasions in thr first half where Innoussa aand Galbraith had liads if space but the ball was being oassed baxk and fore before going out left.

This myth that O'Dea has arrived and has so.much influence over Sheehan to edfext the change from last season has to stop

By the same arguement it can be said the attacking football we witnessed durimg Sheehans caretaker spell post Williams was down to Fotheringham....

For me its coaching/instruction.
When he made his debut against Watford he was a brearh of fresh air....making tackles ciming away with ball and driving forwards....totally different to how he has olayed since.

Sheehan reacts but there’s little to be said in his defence : The future ?
at 14:34 23 Oct 2025

Then Sheehan isnt the man for the job....he is the HEAD coach not O'Dea
Sheehan should say I hear whar your saying its not working though its not what got ke reuslts last season or the job then revert to last years plan.

If the priblem is the change of O'Dea for Fotheringham then maybe last years auccess wasnt down to Sheehan but Fotheringham.....

I am interested to hear how you would go about marketing and selling the lacklustre product currently on offer...which is starting to turn away many loyal customers...to the untapped market which you believe is out there?

maybe he should have done more to keep Fotheringham
Maybe it was he who was the architect of our success after Williams.
As you say though Sheean is head coach he should be dictating the tactics.
The question remains though why hasnt he done so......its been obvious to us fans things have changed with the football dull boring and ineffective so different to that we saw under his leadership last season yet it appears Sheehan continues to allow his asssistant to call the tune when its his head in the block.
Sorry I dint buy it...if he wants to be the No1 he has to make the calls and despite some changes in personnel and shape tonight the cautious approach was still evident...

What more could they be doing?
Cut price tickets? As a season holder I would be well peed off....
Those who really want to watch us do...
As has been mentuined earlier Sky and telecised games are keeping skme suppirrers away .
Those of us who fell in love with the Swans way back when did so when the only luve dootball was at your local league side the only luve tv games being the FA cup,European Cup final, World Cup....plus highlights on MOTD ant the Big Match.
It didnt matter how crap the football was...though I wasnintroduced ro us during the Harry Griffiths years...Youngsters today have the Sky experience access to the PL so its understandable why sometimes they dont want to xome and watchnthe boring fiotabll we have served up over the past few seasons

It would be a good indicator Sheehan is learning if he does start with this on Wednesday
