I know there's a few of us on here. Would be interesting to know what you're up to (as opposed to this just being a lot of youtube vids of good guitarists).
What guitars do you have? What style do you play? How do you practice?

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Anyone on here gone fully digital and ditched pedals? I've been playing with the spark app and it's fantastic.
I can't ditch pedals I love them and have just put together my third pedal board all Laney Black Country Customs pedals (the Monolith Is a beast as Is the Tony Iommi Boost pedal) I can and do have hours of fun with them and that's what's important, I play them through a Laney 1X12 cab and a Laney head. All the pedals are made In the UK.
I recently bought a HIWATT Hi-5 Head to run through my Fender 1 X 12 Tweed Deluxe cab, I now own 8 amplifiers and 12 Guitars, I'm smashing my retirement fund and doing the thing I always wanted to do. Most of the amps are valve although I do have a Fender GTX50.

Anyone know much about amps? I need some advice and am currently playing through my Boss Katana 50. At my last band practice I played through a Marshall which blew me away in the sound difference as it was a valve amp. Now I'm looking at valve amps. Has anyone had issues with servicing them etc? Are they a pain to maintain. Any advice appreciated.

A Marshall valve amp is the classic rock sound and shouldn’t be too difficult to maintain. Just replace the valves very .occasionally. I knew a jazz guitarist who used a Marshall valve and it was great for jazz. The only downside is they weigh a lot more

My valve amps Fender Blues Junior, Marshall DSL 20 and Vox AC15. The Vox and the Marshall both have 'standby' switches which Is a godsend. With valve amps you simply must let the valves warm up before using the amp. I've had them for Years and never had any of them serviced as I dont gig, I just play at home, I bought those particular amps because of their history. The Vox AC15 has a stunning In built pedal switchable tremolo, listen to Creedence Clearwater Revival the Intro to Midnight Special and that's It. The Fender Blues Junior has developed an annoying but only minor background whine, ordinarily I would have taken It Into PMT Oxford but of course they've gone bust.
The sound of a valve amp breaking up Is the sound.
Go on Youtube.
