We are witnessing a blatant strategy in real time to destroy Wales so that it'll forever remain a poverty sticken economic wasteland and Labour stronghold, because it's an obvious case of "keep em poor, keep em voting for us".
The refusal to build roads adds to all that. Nobody could have predicted what we are seeing now when voting for or against devolution all those years back. It's surreal to think that a government is deliberately (not by incompetence but by choice) destroying a country from within.

I agree with that but also, stop spending on relatively unimportant things like increasing the MS's numbers. Shut down the loss making Cardiff airport and sell the land.
Annother bee in my bonnet is housing associations. Most of them now own what used to be council houses and the income from those must have been quite high given the income I know about from one Welsh housing association, and there are over 30 of them in Wales and where does that money go? The one I know about, the CEO gets over 160k per year but that HA used to be run by the council, it's jobs for the boys, a lot of well paid jobs.
Has anyone seen the film "Dave"? Well we need dave to walk into the Snedd and tell them where to save money, maybe we could start wth the MS's taking a pay cut? | | | |

Whilst i do agree the NHS needs a real reorganisation from the top (the staff at the bottom are struggling every day to meet the demand). The NHS does also require much more funding and real plans put in place to employ more doctors and nurses etc.
Unfortunately when our politicians (both Wales and UK) like to involve the private sector it is usually just a transfer of funds out of public domain with nothing to really show for it | |
