International Break 10:47 - Oct 8 with 1001 viewsMyke

Well if the last International break came at just the wrong time after Luton, this one could not come fast enough. We have two weeks now to sort out our malaise, get Chair up to full speed - hopefully get JCS back on the pitch (quite worried about this one as it seems to have coincided with the departure of our fitness coach) and Colback also. We have a nice run of games coming up, with a fully fit squad we should see exactly what we are about by the end of November. If we are still occupying a place in the bottom three by then, then it is time to become seriously concerned.

Four weeks would be nice.

Unless Saito & Dembele are going to grow 6” each and learn to run marathons and Field and Colback can squeeze in brain transplants, no international break is going to magically solve the clubs issues.

"Nice run of games". They fill me with dread. We have to get at least 4 points from Pompey & Coventry, because after that, I'm struggling to see where we can pick up a decent number of points from the other 7 games to the end of November.

I'm still trying to keep the faith, but the only players I'd start from the January and summer transfer windows, would be: Nardi, Frey and Dembele. Dependent on JCS, Chair and Colback being available for Pompey, of course.
