It is immigration. Just a different sort. The UKs PM has this week stressed that immigrants having learn English is non-negotiable, even though these poor people would not in any way threaten the future of the English language on tbe islands. Now apply that logic to English migrants/retirees moving to Wales. Seems like they should commit to learning welsh especially as their numbers can dilute the welsh language in our welsh language heartlands. Let me be the first to say that many already do. Perhaps Starmer just does not see the welsh language as important enough to encourage its use. Starmer is missing a trick or 6. |  |
