Trump is an idiot and bad for the environment
at 15:31 24 Jul 2025

The Gulf of Mexico is heavily polluted from leaking old oil Riggs and the Deep Water horizon event.

There are hundreds possibly thousands of old rig leaking oil and particular gas. The oil men will never clean up after them and have cut and run. Trumps mates did real well.

https://www.usf.edu/marine-science/news/2020/oil-toxins-pervasive-in-gulf-of-mex

Now he is going after wind and solar power.

https://www.eenews.net/articles/trump-is-escalating-his-attacks-on-wind-solar/

They say the renewables are subsidised. But so is coal oil and gas because their subsidy is not having to clean up after them ..We see this in Merthyr.

In UK K there are no plans for the disposal of nuclear wastes. Germany and Sweden have built big shafts costing billions to dispose of nuclear waste.

King Charles pay rise. Where from?
at 14:19 24 Jul 2025

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna163379

The King is due to receive a $60m pay rise this year. This rise is mostly for increased profits at the Crown Estates and most of the profits are from off shore wind farms.

A large percentage of offshore wind farms are in offshore Wales. We citizens have to put up with the turbines and pylons and the King pockets the profits.

The Senedd asked for parity with Scotland on this I but it was declined. Many Welsh people do not want to control their assets and the money goes to the south east.

I read that the King took 25% of offshore wind fees. I read somewhere ha had agreed a reduction to half that Offshore wind fes for England and Wales could be £400m with Wales perhaps 25% of that.

The new owners have learned from the old owners and not made any pitch to the Swansea faithfull.

Levien and Kaplan did interviews and met with the Trust. It was a bad strategy. Fearing a bad reception for the fans they hardly ever showed up at the Liberty instead catching a few away games.

Silverstein came over and was very kind to the underperforming Trust and gave them £500k which they will turn into £400k in real terms in the next decade. He impressed me but was only given grudging credit by the fans.

Coleman breezed in talked the talk and lost a lot of money with Duff Williams and Watson. Watson looked as j if he was picked up from the job centre. He even apologised to some no name from the Swansea Trust breakaway group who objected to him sitting with an old workmate of his in a forum.

I hope the new guys make no effort whatsoever ever in buttering up the fans and the useless Trust other than creating a good exciting winning team.

They can then turn up at the stadium without concerns if results are not good.

My neighbour works in social services. She tells me the Afghans had a lot of trouble getting their family over. Their wive(s) and children. Did you notice the plural. It is actually supposed to be illegal over here.

Ethnicity is not just DNA . It is language, religion, art, politics social habits.

The Senedd for all its failing is a vindication of a separate history and culture.

Here is a summary of the DNA differences, I have never tested my DNA but i had reddish hair pale skin freckles and aptitude for rugby and singing. My linear families were all Welsh,

This is what Brexit was about. Control of workers.

https://news.sky.com/story/care-whistleblower-who-saw-elderly-resident-being-pun
We.

The most pro Brexit areas were those areas which needed Migrant workers the most. Boston in Lincolnshire was often quoted with many European farm workers especially from Romania.

The British have voted to "take their country back". It has not really worked with Asian families of Hindu and Muslim faith replacing single young Christian Europeans.

Wetherspoons wanted Brexit a bit also wanted immigrants. What they wanted was to remove the rights of their workers.

A Czech worker could get sacked by Wetherspoons and get another job. The Indians now here replacing Europeans cannot find other work and are treated like dogs by employers if this case is anything to go by.

In Boston Lincs in 2015 in the Dog and Parrot a local would say to a Hungarian to piss off back to Budapest. The Hungarian would reply. " I am in the EU and have as much right to be here as you do sunshine". This did not go down well.

Now the immigrants need to watch their p's and q's. The English man is back in charge. This is what " taking our country back" . The Arabs do the same thing but much worse of course.

The man Bob Vylan poured scorn on this mentality in his electric set at Glastonbury..

The lady doing her job has been told " keep your mouth shut or you are on a plane back to Mumbai". Just like the old days.

She is sanctioned by Trump and the British right wing press are going after her.

She has highlighted the Western companies finding the genocide. Good for her.

The plane r presumably came from an aircraft carrier which has now gone. It is a bit of a pity that the Indians are not sold allies given that all the Indians citizens over here seems to like us. ( Or at least say they do).

We even had a Indian PM.

It would fit on a giant haulage aircraft if it cannot be flown from India. Diego Gracia is closest at a guess.

Unions united will never be defeated but .......
at 23:23 7 Jul 2025

RMT Union is against arming Ukraine possibly through unknown influences.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/29/cancel-military-aid-to-ukraine-says-

The Unite Union however stands solidly behind Ukraine in spirit and wants the Government to support the new Typhoon class of aircraft.

https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/typhoon-jet-assembly-ends-as-unite-blames-no-uk-

It not clear who they want to use these planes against. No one presumably.

Decisions made by committees based on democracy with no set of values and solid logical base often come up with nonsense.

Newport can play in the United League and Llanelli as well. WRU wanted three not two.

A48 Severn Bridge
at 14:41 5 Jul 2025

https://www.southwalesargus.co.uk/news/25289317.monitors-m48-severn-bridge-anpr-

This bridge is about 60 years old as every one old knows at that age things tend to creak. Camera are being used to monitor weight restrictions with big fines probably.

There is a 7.5 to one wight limit to give longevity to the cables holding it the up which are deteriorating. Structures like this usually are designed for 100 years.

Not heard of anywhere he ere where the cables have been replaced. It would be a very tricky business.

Expect this structure to be shut within a decade or two. Could the piers be reused?

China an Turkiye have v built numerous structures like this. The A. 48 was a technology leader so we are learning from experience..

I was not aware of this and it has come to my attention. Reform have a value simply in rattling the cage of the other parties.

I consider those wanting to abolish the Senedd as highly unwelcome in Wales. Many on Facebook i have confronted on this matter turned out to be English.

I don't do second city moaning but if there is cash for a Cardiff Central to Cardiff Bay tram there must be a strong argument for A Swansea west tram linking to the University Singleton hospital and the new St Helens.

As you would expect from the tired old sages on here, there was not much enthusiasm when I raised it last year.

Cardiff Bay already has a twain station linking to Queen Street Station. If you do not ask you do not get

Sir Huw seems to making better signings this season with Matt Smith a Welsh international midfielder and this giant ,New Zealand keeper.

They could be popular in the lower leagues as I understand it FIFA pay big feed for EC2022 players. I am not sure of it is all world cups or a special care and the lady one in Qatar was in the winter.(A one off??).

Morrell is another free Welsh international he could consider Both featured for Page so should well above league 2.
