Offside ref 19:08 - May 15 with 840 viewsE17hoop

Might we see a change in the offside law? Forest v Leicester, Elanga miles offside. No flag. Ball played in and Taiwo Awoniyi slides in. Ruptures an intestine and placed in a coma while its repaired.

All because of the phase of play crap.

What's needed? A player copping a head injury and fatality before they stop this obvious bullshít?

It's always noisiest at the shallow end

Very good point, it was only a matter of time before a serious injury happened and it has.The whole offside rule is a right old mess.

It’s bonkers isn’t it .

I felt for Sian Massey a little as the instruction is to let play go , but you do see them raise a flag when it’s a very clear and obvious offside …and this was very clear and obvious .

As usual modern being made to eat itself by the lemons in charge .

I don't see how you can change the rule while you've got VAR. Sounds like a good opportunity to get rid of it to me.
