Think he might be an upgrade on Cifuentes, like his style, not afraid to mix it up. I am now thinking once Pokku and Chair are fit we are going to be very hard to beat and taking it to the oppo, especially at Loftus Road. [Post edited 5 Oct 18:48]

I must admit I was really sceptical about him after the Watford and the Coventry debacle, thinking he might be a bit soft for this league. But I am loving being proved wrong, he is turning out to be a very canny operator and think he may well turn out to be an upgrade on Cifuentes. |

We need to use him as an impact player from subs bench, he just does not yet have the physicality in this league. He is a decent player, but for me not a starter. Be interesting to see what happens when Pokku is vying for a place when he is fit. |

We were right to take a punt on bringing in Dembele last season, but maybe he is just really an impact off the bench player for the last 3rd of a match. Players like Saito, Vale and possibly Pokku when he gets fit is likely to be ahead in the pecking order. |

I sort of felt that as well, we improved once the 2nd half subs were made. Overall thought Field was anonymous for most of the time he was on the pitch. Dembele also not a starter for me, just fails to impose himself, whereas Saito and Smyth are straight at it. Poor game overall as a spectacle, but importantly we didn't lose. |

Think we are still finding our way, but importantly got back into the game and more importantly 4 games in a row unbeaten with 10 out of 12 points gained. Take us back to Coventry and Watford games where we were basically all over the place it looked worrying, the improvement is massive. Still feel our continued progress will be built on our home form and making LR a tough place to come for away teams. [Post edited 28 Sep 14:10]

Against Stoke was impressed how Madsen was winning quite a few headers, in the past seemed to bottle it. He is also looking a lot more confident all round, progression all good, maybe now adjusting to the cut and thrust of Championship football. |

A vast improvement as a loanee full back on last season's Harrison Ashby. |

Yep agree with this, nice to have a promotion, but the pitfalls of wasting money on dross in the last effort 10 years ago need heeding big time and as you say bag the money for a new stadium would be a real move forward. |

I don't think we should worry too much, the important thing is that they continue to develop a dangerous striking partnership, the interplay between them is taking off and the goals will come. This is the best strike partnership we have had since Hugill and Wells and they are both our players. |

He is now making us tick and deliver going forward. Some very slick passing and movement, he can operate left, right and drive through the middle as well. Think even though he is a little fella his physicality has improved from last season, exciting times ahead with Mr. Saito. |

Pleased JS has got us going, must admit was really concerned about him after Watford and Coventry, but he has drilled in positivity into the team and it is paying dividends. |

He is getting better, game by game and super finish. Was a bit concerned that Dunne was being exposed a bit early/mid 2nd half and maybe Smyth should be on for Vale. How wrong I was as Vale was able to up his game and crown it with a lively finish. Shine on Harvey Vale. |

Well done Rangers, looked really good today and very physical, we are on the up. Home form is the key and starting to gain control of Loftus Road again. Like the way Stephan just goes for it, this is the way to go. |
