League 1 play-off - Charlton v Orient 19:39 - May 25 with 221 views

I must admit I quite enjoyed that one, a good game between two decent sides. Even though my (maternal) grandad was a Charlton fan, and I work for the group sponsoring them, I would have been okay with the underdogs Leyton Orient getting through. Particularly so after being there to see their relegation to the National League as a result of the loathsome Bechetti.

But, to be fair, the best team won, Charlton deserved it, and they should be (at least) a Championship club. It also keeps the ever-popular trip to Brisbane Road potentially just one season away, or who knows, next season in one of the cup competitions?

I agree Wessex it was a competitive game

The winning goal might have been saved by the keeper but Charlton did deserve to win even though I dislike Nathan Jones intensely.

My must strive for promotion to league one next season.
