I cannot talk going off all my spelling errors and we know digswell has some health challenges but either way Ange is not rocking up at Loftus Road anytime soon. What exactly do Spurs want he won the European competition and played most of the season with a lot of his first choice team out injured and Son only half the player he was and still got the ax
manager on 09:00 - Jun 7 with 821 views | 7374Ranger | Ange P, delivered what he said he would. Yes, the league form was poor , but the bottom 3 were so poor relegation was not really on the cards so he concentrated on the Europa League. Also, as you point out, he had an injury list comparable with QPR's. bottom line is he won a trophy and got into next season's Champions League, Arsenal won nothing again. The Tottenham fans i know are happier those from Arsenal.
manager on 12:17 - Jun 7 with 570 views | stainrods_elbow | It's unreal isn't it, comparing the managerial outcomes of Spuds and Manure? One had a massive injury list, finished quite a long way below what they'd expect, but wins the Europa (albeit a tad fortunately) and secures Champ League footie. The other had at worst average injury issues, finished worse than hey have for decades breaking abject record after record, going backwards and further backwards, loses the Europa, and have a manager who did nothing to change any of it. (Miraculously, though, despite apparently being virtually bankrupt, they are still able/allowed to spend tens of millions on their latest round of recruits - just because, I guess) Meanwhile, one manager is out of a job, while the other is smiling through, despite an uitterly wretched season where he accomplished absolutely nothing in terms of setting up a credible team, and in fact made bad players (admittedly, not his players) look worse. Talk about stealing a living! I'd say, in the circs, Ange's good grace (though he hardly came in with any kind of stellar club record) is so good he should go to heaven! [Post edited 7 Jun 12:18]
