Reading Francis Peacock's great book about 75/76 in hindsight that seemed like a silly decision since we lost that match, may well have cost us the title. |
I went to junior school with Francis, he then went to Kingsbury High.
Played against him on a Saturday afternoon a few times as well.
Saw him many years later outside LR.

Went to Wolves and Liverpool game with a car full of R's . Unbelievable crush outside , stood in the away end. The games finished at 9.10 back then , looked at the clock at 9.00 and Wolves were still one nil up, Steve Kindon , they had to win to stay up. Bloody long and silent journey back to North London.
