yeah can see why the club pushed Walsh forward as number one although for me I'd have started season with Nardi and I think Walsh would have naturally replaced him at some point and had a lot more good will behind him I can see us going for a new keeper in January, Dieng wouldn't surprise me |

yeah watched it earlier, I agree Nardi could have come for it but when he doesn't Norrington Davies could have done a lot better to stop the first header and someone anyone could have tracked Morris to stop him walking in to a tap in. I'll stick with it's not all on Nardi, he's partly to blame but not fully for me. It was a collective piss poor goal to concede. |

Of course we were, he was told he could go Of course players have to deal with that but it usually affects performance, we saw it with Paal last season |
 | Forum Reply | Is it Hamer time? at 19:37 26 Oct 2025
It's more that Nardi was told he had no future here same as Paal last summer so when they are then called upon and made first choice again as the replacements were crap the confidence is knocked as they know they are not wanted and mistakes creep in. |

It's still quite young in terms of experience at this level which is what I think they mean |
 | Forum Reply | Is it Hamer time? at 15:42 26 Oct 2025
I get that but as he doesn't and we all know thats not something he's very good at do we all just say oh well it's all his fault I won't do my job and just let him have a tap in. |
 | Forum Reply | Is it Hamer time? at 15:00 26 Oct 2025
so when he doesn't do that we all just stop and point fingers at the keeper? The defenders were allowed to continue marking Morris and had a chance to win the header across goal as well As I say was poor all round rather than all on one person |
 | Forum Reply | Is it Hamer time? at 14:36 26 Oct 2025
true but for me if whoever was marking Morris had stayed with him that goal is a lot harder for them to score, it was pretty poor defending from everyone for the goal, Nardi is making mistakes but seems to be an easy scapegoat at the moment |
 | Forum Reply | Is it Hamer time? at 13:52 26 Oct 2025
but we've seen with Nardi he is not good at this so his defenders know this and need to deal with the first header and the tap in. When Nardi has come running out for these he usually makes a mess of it |
 | Forum Reply | Is it Hamer time? at 11:11 26 Oct 2025
easy to blame the keeper but if the defenders win the first header and one of them bothers to mark Morris then they don't score I haven't seen it back but at the time I thought the ball was going away from the keeper and if he had gone for it they'd have scored anyway |

If he doesn't go down and there is no red card you'd have people saying we are too nice etc I don't think he did much wrong, was gormless from the Swansea player |
 | Forum Reply | Celar / Madsen - Sliding Doors at 11:26 23 Oct 2025
he's playing deeper so coming onto the ball which has helped him, did that at Sunderland and could see signs of a player that day but mostly it's work rate. He's upped his work off the ball and is now winning tacles, anticipating where the danger is. All very basic things but makes a real difference |
 | Forum Reply | Celar / Madsen - Sliding Doors at 11:23 23 Oct 2025
He's basically gone from a 1 or 2 out of 10 player to a regular 6 or 7 out of 10 with potential to get better |

So should we stick Celar and Santos back in the team as well then, give them more time. After the way he played last season if we could have got our money back I'd have sold him last summer even taken a small loss. All very well moving to a new country etc but he didn't look remotley interested most of the time, games just passing him by, all I wanted from him was a bit of effort and now he's showing it. His transformation has been basically putting in tackles and running about a bit all things he could have done last season but it's great to see him realising what is needed and doing so well. |

knew they would be bad when they started things saying Burrell had a stop start beginning to the season. Fella has featured in every game so far |

We usually head into town, got the usual array of Wetherspoons, Wakabout etc but you'll need a taxi to the ground if you do that |
 | Forum Reply | Madsen at 23:03 22 Oct 2025
I'm sure I did, he was dreadful last season, wouldn't run or put a tackle in and not great on the ball either, just strolled through games. Completly different player since the Watford game, the work rate and work off the ball has transformed his game You can only call what you see with players, last season was nowhere near good enough and this season he has been a lot better, long may it continue |
 | Forum Reply | Madsen at 22:23 22 Oct 2025
was he abused? I mean he was rubbish for most of last season and people just said what they saw, i don't remember him getting much stick at games other than the odd groan and moan when he did something wrong |
