His original tweet was in response to someone comparing the current lot to the connection Bircham, Gallen & Cook had with the crowd, I think he was just trying to say that the current one feels a bit forced at this early stage and they have only been here a few weeks whilst Bircham and co had a clear connection with the club and fans which took a while to build
I think Poku will come back in either for Vale or with Vale moving into a number 10 position going back to how we started the season with one up front.
I can't see how Morgan or Kolli get into the side at the moment they are quite far down the pecking order at the moment which isn't great for them
Chair is the one most in danger, I can see him being sold in January, he'll need to really adapt his game and move the ball quicker to have a chance of playing regularly
On the ref, I thought he was a typical Premier League this is all beneth me type of ref, let everything go early on and thought he was in for an easy afternoon and then after that tackle which he laughably gave as a drop ball he lost control and had to go card crazy to try and calm things down again
The injury time summed him up, multiple long stoppages first half for Stoke players playing dead and one of them almost losing a leg and he gave 3 minutes. We were all expecting 7 or 8 at the end of the first half but he must have had somewhere better to be.
I personally wouldn't change anything for next weekend, Burrells's pace on that big pitch should be a big threat, I think it's more likely we'll see a few changes for that Oxford game
I mean it is all a bit over the top but all teams seem to do it now celebrate a league win like it's a big game. I can see where he is coming from but don't personally have an issue with it.
The stick he's got from some fans though called, old, fat etc is as depressing as ever, especially after a friend of his died at the weekend which he had just found out about
I think the last time we used one sub was Middlesbrough away Feb 2023 under Critchley, lost 3-1 only sub as Adomah for Dozzell. last time I can find at home was Feb 2020 home to Birmingham, 2-2 draw Chair on for Pugh
Going into the summer they had a massive job on their hands to not only keep players but add some quality and you have to say they've had the best summer window at Loftus Road probably since that first year under Warburton where he really freshended it all up. We've got good depth now, realy quality in forward areas, hats off to everyone involved and lets hope this doesn't become a one off and we can continue doing this going forward
A really good idea by Chris Guy and although you'll get loads saying why has this player or that one got a number it's a nice touch and something to add to the forever r's stuff which has been a big sucsess in celebrating the clubs history
Yeah I think we'll have wide players who can come inside and create as we've seen with Vale and Saito and also options for out and out wingers like Smyth and Poku
Logistics and care is basically booking travel, hotels etc and dealing with requests from players, checking in with them. They do like a grand job title but I think Caroline has been at the club for years in that sort of role
