I just don't like the way Nourry comes across, he looks like he has a bad smell permanently under his nose! He might very well being doing a good job, who knows, but as a man not for me and I don't think I'll ever change my mind on that!

I guess it seems he is not the sort of bloke you would have a pint with Connell.

His background obviously not what your average Rangers fan can relate to.

For me, that doesnt bother me in the slightest. If we as a club improve, climb the table, make more money and play attractive, exciting football, then he could be Attila the Hun in personality, for all i care, if he gets the job done, thats good enough for me.

I have had work colleagues, who I clearly would never ever be on the same page on a night out, but their abilities in the workplace were decent and helpful and in all reality, the people who represent our club, yes we ideally would like to like them and feel a connection, but for me , I could not care less about that, if all objectives are achieved and we are successful.

Was Alex Ferguson, a likeable man, not particularly, but the United fans would never have worried about that.. Ainsworth probably bled blue and white blood, really cared, but could not get a thing right.

Stupid analogy really, but guess you get my drift.

And the post above accusing Nourry of making accounts on here to defend himself and slate "Evil Les"! I dare them to have a look on QPR twitter, the paranoia might hit manic levels

Mmmm, paranoia, as in conspiracy theorists? Interesting choice Sam, very interesting. Careful on the gaslighting front. It's very unpleasant and easily observed.

It is clear from a large number of posts on many threads that many old heads including the site's owner, who have experienced it before, are aware there are posters here 'on a mission'.Clear as day. Gaslighting them with the paranoia/conspiracy accusation isn't a great look and reflects badly on your character.

If you lack the intelligence to observe where Charlieb was coming from that's on you. To be so insecure that you have to then accuse those of us who know the truth of it of paranoia is .....I dunno man.....very Beansy. All very unnecessary.

We're QPR fans, Nourry is what we've got right now, we want him to succeed. I promise you, people complaing about the lack of communication or falling out with Marti (not things I'm personally too bothered about) will all be singing his praises if he gets things right. He doesn't need you to be attacking fellow fans.

"Your opinion on where the club is at this moment likely depends on whether you consume it through Twitter, where Christian Nourry is approaching a God-like status, or message boards, where there’s a dislike of the club’s DOF/CEO that often descends into paranoia. The truth, as ever, is likely somewhere in between."

Nothing was mentioned with the "interesting choice" of words in the above post, why? I agree with the sentiment almost completely. Things are taken too far on there, things are taken too far on here.

I think absolutely calling out posters that hold opposite points of view as just pawns that are sent by Nourry to be a ridiculous conspiracy theory. If you go to Twitter you would have to question 100s of users. If you think that's reasonable than fair enough, that's your opinion, like this one is mine

Haha, I'm hardly going to question Clive's bit of artistic license when he has made it quite clear that he KNOWS from previous experience that there are some dodgy posters on here now whose sole purpose is to shape opinion on Nourry! But you know that already. Can't blame you for trying to score points though!

Aiming your last paragraph at me is all a bit Strawman.
Because (a) As I have made it clear I don't hold a particularly anti Nourry position - I think he's one decent/good season away from being lauded as having done a decent/good job, there is clearly joined up thinking in the recruitment/development side and if he faced a manager looking to move after 6 months then he rightly had to protect QPR's interests (whether he was partly the cause of Marti's desire to leave is another matter and something I can't know). And I'm pleased he didn't just settle for an obvious experienced name.
There are clearly some communication issues (which as I've said are not too troubling for me, yet anyway), although stopping the manager from having a chat with Clive can, ironically, come across as a bit paranoid! He's young and hopefully humble enough to have a learning curve.

And (b) I also made it quite clear that I have no issue with all the posters supporting Nourry, I am not remotely claiming they are all sent by him. That would be ridiculous and conspiracy territory.
So no I don't think that's 'reasonable'. Please don't place that on me.

As for Twitter, you won't catch me on there in a million years. If there are 100's of Nourry fans on there good luck to them, genuinely.

I don't care about Twitter but I do care about this message board. Again, if you can't separate Charlieb from genuine posters who like Nourry that's on you. No paranoia here. No need for strawman gaslighting, no need to be so disparaging and dismissive.

I'm not doing this to point score, it's to acknowledge there is some batsh*t lunatics on this site regarding the bloke. And it's not aimed at you. Just another thread previously there were users tracking down his family history and where they were working. I don't really fancy getting involved in another Nourry thread so I'm going to leave it there. Let the football do the talking, that cannot start any sooner
