 | Forum Thread | An alternative look on the Coventry game at 17:10 25 Aug 2025
I actually backed Coventry in pre season to win the Championship this season and got odds of 14 to 1, Ladbrokes got them as low as 13 to 2 now so halved the odds already. I did think they were doing ever so well under Frank Lampard back end of last season and very unfortunate to not get promotion. Got a feeling Lampard will be managing a lot higher up the food chain very soon also. Think he is destined to be a top level premiership manager of the future. Anyhow, sod this waffle - just making a point that i do expect Coventry to be in the top two most of the season and tbf everything they hit went in. On another day thats a 3 - 1 loss. Three signings today and a positive result against Charlton and it will be Sir Christian Nourry !!+!! Anyhow, load of old tosh and its all tosh !!!! |
 | Forum Thread | Christian Nourry to start the next Match Thread at 07:55 25 Aug 2025
Sorry FDC, your first matchday thread in 20 years went exceedingly well. I am all for you to have a chance for redemption against Charlton. But if Mr Nourry wants to take over, then here is also your chance Christian. Its only a matter of time before this happens, surely, and Clive perhaps, he somehow will take over the administration and management of this site from your good self - oh my days !!! From what i have seen, is your pseudo name - Beans - Christian..... [Post edited 25 Aug 8:01]

 | Forum Thread | The rows in South Africa Road with the letters painted in the Wrong Order at 11:15 24 Aug 2025
Two of the back three rows in South Africa Road stand have been labelled incorrectly for years. It is painted T , then Y then blank, then X. It should be T, V, W, X. I sent the club and email and said the Y needs to be a V and the blank needs to be a W. It would not take much at all to sort this out, but it's irritating, seeing all people that come once every so often, looking extremely confused and regulars having to help many people each game with their confusion. I was told, thank you for taking the time to raise this issue and that they would be passing this issue onto the relevant person and department concerned. There has been no further contact. Ie it's not my job, it's probably Bob's or Jim's, or perhaps it's in Christian's inbox to approve, because am certain such important matters are something that he needs to approve or take no further action. Even, I dont believe, he approves that, but thought would post this, because it says a lot about the whole dynamics of the football club in every department. It's a simple thing and tbh it's incredibly amateur to have rows labelled incorrectly and to occasional visitors sends out an image of a club that's a little bit Sunday league.Just did it to help them out, but my request has been lost in email limbo land and I don't expect to ever be dealt with. It's a very minor issue but can't help thinking as with too many cooks in coaching, methodology, individual training, defence training, set piece training, performance Director, assistant head coach to the assistant youth team methodology manager, my email request needs approval for this action to be acted upon by Bill or Bob. I think on Saturday, I will take a paint pot and paint brush in with me.......... It's a ten minute job !!!!! But apparently not. It's with the relevant department awaiting further action.... | Forum Thread | We were very good in added time at 02:44 24 Aug 2025
If the game had started in minute 90, we win that game. Something to build on for Charlton. #theprojectisworking [Post edited 24 Aug 2:44]

 | Forum Thread | Is Chair really injured ??? at 01:52 24 Aug 2025
Would not be surprised if he realises change at the top is needed immediately Gone on strike perhaps ???? He said in one interview Stephan is the best coach he has played under and is looking forward to playing in the premier league with QPR. Was that PR BS that he was told to say !!! And he has been very complimentary about Christian Nourry. Nothing adds up as being genuine for me Everything so far this season is total PR b*llsh*t... Everyone is instructed to say such things. The amount of times Stephan says project is concerning. When Williams explained the way injuries were treated without boring us with his long biological words, I personally did have the intelligence to understand what he was explaining, when he did it previously. By not explaining it as he did not want to bore us - how patronising is that - all football fans have no brains - we actually do understand big words sometimes... And the favourite player quote, look we are not ten years old. We know complete bluster and bulldozers !!!! But yes Chair being "injured" they told us Taylor Richards is "injured" What i never like is being told downright lies....... [Post edited 24 Aug 1:58]

 | Forum Thread | Nourry come to a fans forum NOWwith Williams and De Sousa at 19:05 23 Aug 2025
Dont just have one before any games are played Come in with one now and actually let fans ask questions in real time Basically be honest and say you are picking the team, the teams strategy and everything else and say if you do want to stay, that you have learned lessons, because if you dont, the fans are not accepting this. We.dont want smoke screens We.want honesty. Fans are already dubious of this project !!! |

 | Forum Thread | People that went to Plymouth tonight - What was the general feelings re the team at 23:36 12 Aug 2025
Wondered what the loyal fans that travelled a heck of a distance to see this.. What was the general vibe amongst the fans there tonight and how did anyone personally feel - as you all took a lot of time out of your weeks to travel all that way to nearly have an entire squad of youth players presented before you. Should imagine a bit of a roller coaster of a night.... [Post edited 12 Aug 23:51]

 | Forum Thread | Carabao Cup Winners thread - victim one - Plymouth Argyle at 16:46 12 Aug 2025
Clearly this is our year.... Well likely half the team that won the Premier League Cup will be involved here, so the cup pedigree is there !!! Probably as Plymouth also stated they likely to field a second team, this could be seen as no more than a preseason friendly... I have no idea as to the result, performance or team, but am not too hopeful. Saying that Plymouth have lost almost all their top players, but its a cup game Random from me. Plymouth 2 QPR 2 We progress 3- 1 on penalties (Chloe Kelly strikes the winner) |
 | Forum Thread | Players that failed medicals elsewhere that Rangers signed up. at 22:57 11 Aug 2025
Pretty certain both Charlie Austin and Sam Field failed medicals elsewhere just prior to signing for us. Whether to believe Ba is coming here after failing a medical and with Kone's medical said to be tomorrow- any others come to mind. Sam Field has been pretty much always available in my memories.... What exactly is included in these medicals anyhow ???? |
 | Forum Thread | QPR - HIGH COST TRANSFERS v BARGAIN BASEMENT DEALS at 12:45 10 Aug 2025
With Eze being sold or not, thinking back over time, we have had many outstanding purchases of players and almost an equal amount of players that cost the earth but were awful. Sure everyone has a few in both categories !!! WASTE OF MONEY Leroy Fer, Jordan Mutch, Christopher Samba, Ned Zelic, Loic Remy (not here long enough), Conor Washington, Macauley (jaffa cake) Bonne, Mark Hateley, Mike Sheron, Shaun Wright Phillips, Joey Barton BARGAINS Adel Taarabt, Ray Wilkins, Andy Sinton, David Bardsley, Clive Wilson, Paul Parker, Danny Maddix, Alan Mcdonald, Les Ferdinand, Shaun Derry, Clint Hill, Ilias Chair, Ebere Eze, Darren Peacock. These are only a few from my memories. I will hope Zan Celar and Nicolas Madsen do not find their possible category as they both still here and there is some hope still. But we decent at findng the occasional bargain but seem to have a history of wasting monies on so called players that are of "proven pedigree".... Maybe, it would be for the best, if Eze money wasnt incoming...... [Post edited 10 Aug 13:07]
