Welcome Back from Bar Manager – Anthony Field
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say a big welcome back to The Crown Oil Arena and our matchday bars as we get the new season underway – starting with tomorrow’s friendly against Grimsby Town.
I’m really pleased to say most of our brilliant bar team are back again this season, with only a couple of changes over the break. They’re a hardworking, friendly bunch who always do their best to make sure your matchday experience is a good one – and they make my job a whole lot easier too!
A few bar updates for tomorrow:
• The Ratcliffe Bar will be open from 12pm, so feel free to pop in early for a drink before the game.
• The Dale Bar will be closed for service, but the room will remain open for seating. Please note, The Rochdale Supporters Trust are holding a meeting in The Dale Bar in the morning and possibly overrun.
• Our Spot Bar (in the Smith Metals Stand, Pearl Street side) will open once the turnstiles are operating – access is from inside the stadium only.
• The 1907 Lounge and hospitality areas will be open as usual, with entry via the main reception. The lounge will close slightly earlier after the match as we’re setting up for an evening function.
👉 Please note: No alcohol, glassware, bottles, or cans are allowed inside the stadium. All drinks must be consumed within the bar areas. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
You might see a few new faces behind the bar over the next few games as we get into the swing of things – thanks for being patient and giving them a warm welcome.
