Football fans general consensus on Wrexham 15:33 - Aug 10 with 869 views | kingslandstand1 | Also on T/Sport last night re Saints, Cundy's opening gambit was to question "I wonder if following Southampton's win a lot of people are actually quite glad that Wrexham got beat!" I can definitely understand that view, apart maybe from the media and the commentary team having just watched the whole game again who still want that love in with them?

Football fans general consensus on Wrexham on 18:04 - Aug 10 with 710 views | SaintNick | Its all a bit of an experiment, the Americans come up with the idea that they can take a small provincial football club, make a tv series on it and see how far they can take it and how much money they can make. The problem is the TV show will only have a limited shelf life then the people who watch it will forget about Wrexham and they will go back to being watched by 5,000 people again and hopefully won't get a poor owner and fall into debt

Football fans general consensus on Wrexham on 18:42 - Aug 10 with 640 views | dirk_doone | It was a massive game for Wrexham. Their first at this level in more than half a century. For their fans who were there on Saturday, it was the highest level league game they'd ever seen their team play. It was like a cup final for them. No wonder they were excited. I must admit I did smile when they went very quiet in those final minutes and looked so crest-fallen while the home fans were singing and celebrating wildly all around the stadium. They've had an average of around 3,000 home fans for most of their history, but this new TV era has quadrupled their support. I wonder how many of the fans they brought to St Mary's were even in the 2,500 home crowds they had 3 years ago? Quite a few of their new fans would have flown over from America. https://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/wrex.htm [Post edited 10 Aug 19:01]
