Have to say after yesterday I didn't particularly enjoy the usual after game beer. It was just so depressing to see the Skates celebrating like they'd won the FA Cup and all the noise coming from there as we were leaving
Our discussions afterwards were basically that we are now an average, if not slightly below average, Championship team and cannot see us even making the play offs.
We spent big (for this level) in the summer but as has been well documented here, in the wrong areas. The new guys will hopefully gel a bit more but nothing I saw really got the juices going
Next game is Hull and surely we can get 3 points there as they are a bit in turmoil and build from that? If not, then forget play offs, let alone promotion unless something major happens in the January window. We will remain a former glory team once an enviable club and top team on the South Coast

RIP. Died in a care home in Australia aged 75
My memories of him when I heard (read) the news just now was that he wasn't a particularly popular guy bearing in mind he almost got to the very top of the game - lost to Ali and Frazier - but wasn't too sure.

Also on T/Sport last night re Saints, Cundy's opening gambit was to question "I wonder if following Southampton's win a lot of people are actually quite glad that Wrexham got beat!"
I can definitely understand that view, apart maybe from the media and the commentary team having just watched the whole game again who still want that love in with them? |

Apparently the Prem ones are out, I saw something taking over 2 or 3 pages in the paper about them and of course Talkshite was all over them, but nothing about the mighty Championships all important furst day fixture!
So when are they out, when's the first game, and who do we want?
I want some nondescript team who won't go up or down so that we can get off to a good, positive start! |

We had a few sat around us yesterday but not sure if they were Arsenal "supporters" or just football fans wanting to see a top Premier League team playing in the "best league in the world".
But do we have a problem with that? It was one of the best attendances this season so good for the coffers, but some cringe at this. I have probably laughed at them in the past thinking they are not "real fans", but maybe they are real "football" fans after all

Whinging that we were wasting time, didn't want to play,and shouldn't even be on the pitch. He moaned about the length of the grass and just started crying
Every pundit on radio and tv said he was talking out of his arris, and quite right to. It was even mentioned that they waste time by all this tippy happy crap. Troy Deeney was brilliant. Just get on with it, welcome to football
