It sure was. The player just basically stood there, didn't even jump, and just waited for the ball to come. It was like a header drill in practice. No one to contest it at all | | | |

Looked to me like a studs-up follow through on the sliding tackle. Thick yellow but as he’d already been booked it was a no brainer for the ref. |
I get why it’s given but it’s a crap rule. He’s not gone in particularly hard, both players slide in and he gets more than a small amount of the ball before his momentum carries him into Winks. Maybe it’s one an assessor pats him on the back for but it’s not how the sport should be IMO. | | | |
