I was having a message chat with a work mate about our respective teams. He’s an AFC Wimbledon supporter, and he’s very proud of his team with the way it’s going this season.
He said they’re a team who play 100% for each other, and they’ve been very competitive in all games this season. He loves the new ground, and is loving life as a fan.
I wish them all the best, as their fans deserve it after what happened years ago to their team.

This week feels odd, because on the one hand I'm dreading next Saturday -- I'm supposed to be meeting with a Charlton mate to watch it, but have now made my excuses as I can't face being in his company if it goes as it feels like it inevitably will -- but on the other hand just stewing in the aftermath of Coventry is also horrible and I kind of just want to crack on and see what horrors happen next.
The point about how the team and the support always felt united under Cifuentes is key I think, there was always something to feel good about, even if not the result or the performance. This feels entirely different and more terminal.

I can guarantee one thing and that’s most of the fans watching Wimbledon now weren’t there during the early/mid 90’s watching them at Selhurst. I grew up in Wimbledon and nobody supported them.
MK Dons is the best thing that could have happened to the club, without the split they wouldn’t be where they are now.
I’m sure you’ve seen them play and experienced how totally revitalised it is. Even when they were playing at Kings Meadow it felt so optimistic. I use to go a few times every season with my brother, it was great fun.
Sadly I don’t think it’s a model QPR can realistically follow. |  | | |
