First game in Swansea for 5 years.
First game people can watch for twelve years.

The most recent senior Wales men’s international at Swansea.com Stadium was a 0–0 friendly draw against the United States on 12 November 2020—played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, the last match with fans present was a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Croatia on 26 March 2013.

Doomed to fail again ?
Or, will this game sell out ?

The latter is looking to be the favourite.

Joe Allen’s career will be celebrated at Tuesday evening’s match against Canada at the Swansea.com Stadium, with a pre-match presentation for the 77 time capped former Cymru international.

Wales : A. Davies; Kpakio, Cabango, B. Davies, N. Williams; Crew, J. James; D. James, Brooks, Wilson; Mark Harris.

Subs: Darlow, King, Mepham, Lawlor, Koumas, Cullen, Johnson, Moore, Norrington-Davies, Thomas, Andrews, J. Colwill.

So did we get an official attendance afterwards ?

Like the old FAW days, 15,000 ish.

Welsh Cup finals were the same. When we beat Wrexham in around 1991 in Cardiff the Swans sold 8k tickets Wrexham around 2k. The att was 5,000. In fact that was their favourite figure in those days.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

If it was an important match then Bellamy would have put put the strongest side outavailable, but it wasn't, it was a friendly.

Friendlies are for giving younger players who havent played at that level some valuable gametime.

These players are nowhere near internation level because they havent played at that level, they will never get better unless they get minutes on the pitch in international friendles, it isn't rocket science to work that one out.

Afraid to say in my opinion some of those youngsters are nowhere near international level and never likely to be

. Thank you Keith. What a sad crowd they are (that's the WFA by the way).

You're absolutely right.
Pure speculation on my part.
Bellamy has done a remarkable job up to now. Far better than I or many could have predicted
