Wales v Canada : Match day thread & Team News 09:38 - Sep 6 with 6565 views | ModeratorC | First game in Swansea for 5 years. First game people can watch for twelve years. The most recent senior Wales men’s international at Swansea.com Stadium was a 0–0 friendly draw against the United States on 12 November 2020—played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to that, the last match with fans present was a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Croatia on 26 March 2013. Doomed to fail again ? Or, will this game sell out ? The latter is looking to be the favourite. Joe Allen’s career will be celebrated at Tuesday evening’s match against Canada at the Swansea.com Stadium, with a pre-match presentation for the 77 time capped former Cymru international. Wales : A. Davies; Kpakio, Cabango, B. Davies, N. Williams; Crew, J. James; D. James, Brooks, Wilson; Mark Harris. Subs: Darlow, King, Mepham, Lawlor, Koumas, Cullen, Johnson, Moore, Norrington-Davies, Thomas, Andrews, J. Colwill.

I know, she said Mark Harris of Oxford born in Swansea. He said was on the Cardiff City books. He doesn't even try to hide it, embarrassing.

| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Weird really as the chances of that being right is questionable. On the dot, especially as on Sunday night it was stated that 15k tickets had been sold. There were a fair few queuing up tonight for tickets.

That was the info he got from the FAW, however, the intent in his tweet was there for all to see. The ticket site stating it was virtually sold out then the Swans last minute stating tickets were available. It’s all very unprofessional. And it’s every game this season so far. And I know a few who gave up on the app, again.

I’m definitely with you on Blanche gleefully making the most out of the info that the stadium wasnt sold out - I really hope he’s hopelessly wrong and has to lose face and correct the record.

Wales v Canada : Match day thread & Team News on 14:17 - Sep 10 with 345 views | OptimisticJack | All the talk is about attendances. Cardiff fans have an obsession with this topic and we are drawn into the same useless and childish arguments. So little chat about the match. What a worthless exercise in my opinion. Lip service. Players selected just to give them a game like a kids team. Bellamy says it gives them great experience. Nonsense. A number of players last night are nowhere near international level. Complete contempt shown to the fixture and to the crowd [Post edited 10 Sep 14:48]

If it was an important match then Bellamy would have put put the strongest side outavailable, but it wasn't, it was a friendly. Friendlies are for giving younger players who havent played at that level some valuable gametime. These players are nowhere near internation level because they havent played at that level, they will never get better unless they get minutes on the pitch in international friendles, it isn't rocket science to work that one out.

I think every club manager and supporters are glad that their players are protected from playing two 90 minute games in an international break whenever possible. [Post edited 10 Sep 15:39]

Obviously, thats why friendlies are so valuable in wales' case. We dont have a big pool to pick from so we have make do with what we have.
