| Forum Thread | Tyler Morse looks set to take on a more prominent role at 14:30 14 Nov 2024
Sources across the pond have indicated to WalesOnline that American property tycoon Tyler Morse could well be among them. Morse, the founder of MCR Hotels, already holds a small shareholding in the club, and his stake is set to be increased as part of the new takeover. The exact value of his potential share isn't yet known, but one source has told WalesOnline that he is expected to take a more hands-on role, and could even be handed a position on the board of directors. The hotelier recently made headlines for striking a £275m deal to buy the BT Tower in London, which he plans to turn into an 'iconic hotel'. His current portfolio consists around 150 hotels around the world, an estimated worth of £3.9 billion. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/state-play-swansea-ci |

This has been happening for a while and maybe I am over reacting. Does anybody else think it is disrespectful to show advertisements on the big when showing a picture of a former player who has passed away? |

| Forum Thread | Cardiff City owner in High Court row with ex-club director at 10:57 7 Jun 2020
A former director at Cardiff City is suing the club and owner Vincent Tan, claiming his shareholding has been diluted. Among the issues Michael Isaac has raised is if Mr Tan was responsible for "wrongly removing" Mr Isaac from his position as a director. There is also a dispute over whether a 2014 loan of £7.5 million was "falsely recorded" in financial records. Mr Tan says Mr Isaac's claims should be struck out. He says Mr Isaac hopes to "air his grievances" over the running of the Championship club at a trial. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52926455 |

kenjigorre - I WAS A GAMBLER I’m sharing this in the hope that it helps someone who’s going through it and to bring awareness to footballers to be in control of there mind. 🧠. I look back at myself and It was a routine, straight after training I would go to the casino. I told myself I was bored, there’s nothing else to do! And I was so narrow minded and only thought about myself that I ended up not just losing money but losing the people closest to me. I felt that I could never stop, I was in it so deep that my mind would always be thinking about it. Don’t make it be too late! Become more conscious of what your doing and why your doing it. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/new-life-kenji-gorre- [Post edited 3 Apr 2020 11:44]

| Forum Thread | JOE RODON A DOUBT FOR NOTTINGHAM FOREST CLASH at 14:44 12 Sep 2019
Joe Rodon is a doubt for Swansea City’s Championship clash with Nottingham Forest after picking up a knock on international duty. The 21-year-old made his Wales debut in Friday’s Euro 2020 qualifying win over Azerbaijan, and then featured in Monday’s friendly win over Belarus. And Swans boss Steve Cooper revealed the defender had taken a kick during the latter game and is being assessed ahead of Saturday’s Liberty Stadium clash. But the head coach confirmed the rest of Swansea’s international contingent have got a clean bill of health. “Joe has had a kick, so we will see how he is,” said Cooper. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/joe-rodon-doubt-nottingham-forest-clash |

| Forum Thread | Club Shop (City Centre) at 12:03 21 May 2019
Swansea City can confirm that the club’s city centre shop will be closing down on Saturday, May 25. The Swans opened the city centre store in Union Street in October 2017 to meet the increased demand for official merchandise. While sales were strong in its initial year of trading, a combination of factors including relegation, a reduction in city centre footfall, an increase in online sales and an overall club restructuring has prompted the decision to close the store. The main club shop at the Liberty Stadium will remain open as normal.” |
