QPR Raffle tickets 12:28 - Sep 24 with 1736 viewsenfieldargh

Each half time the club announces the winning ticket of the R Raffle.

I enter through the SAR major turnstiles and only once have I ever encountered a seller. I would purchase tickets eveytime if they put someone there. Depending on which watering hole/underground station I'm coming from ive never seen one at LR entrance or up by the club shop.

Anyone on here actually buy them, where from and has anybody here won?

Never seen or heard of it.
And, given how crap the speakers are, how exactly would they expect to announce the winner so anyone could hear if they'd won ?

I bought some on Saturday but only because we were on a jolly doing lunch and comfy seats in W12 and they come to your table so it seemed rude not to. The winners do get posted on the website...

They were on sale at the Fanzone and also just inside The Loft Turnstiles.

Sounds like buying a ticket is a bit of a lottery.

Nice.....

Talking of which, I couldn't quite see from my position in the Loft but it looked to me like one of the Executive Boxes had its glass moved up? Or was that just an illusion of the light? Or had it just broken? Never seen that before. If so, seems a good idea to absorb the atmosphere, as I know most modern stadiums have seats "outside" the boxes, don't they?

One of the boxes has opening windows. Legacy of being used for a couple of seasons by a window company.

Staying on subject of exec boxes, the one behind me in East Paddock is empty more often than not. With the ground close to sold out most matches, find it odd we can't fill them.
