Not as powerful as 'Adolescence', but still very gripping. Murphy his usual customary self: good, believable and the heir apparent to Danny Day Lewis. That said, I still find myself saying in a deep Brummie accent, 'Hey, orright Tommy!' |

Good stuff! Timmy A/TA/Tim should be easy enough from here on. Also fingers crossed for Alfie T/AT/Alf as well. |

I really must make some effort to remember his name, but the Aberdeen lad looks something. Also, from watching the Dev. Cup final, anyone know how Alfie Tuck is doing? I thought he looked good that night. Then again, I also thought the same of Murphy, but we let him go. |

What GaryBannister said! CN/the club have taken a battering up until Charlton at home. I've not been comvinced by CN, reaching a stage of apoplectic rage after Cov, but always acknowledged he had picked up a job at a place ruined by his predecessors, but felt his yoof approach was right. My beef with the owners/Hoos: giving the job to a kid! But, credit where it's due, the green shoots are showing. QPR will hit bumps, and now we're becoming more as CN wants us to be, we'll see how resilient the house he's building is in time. But, like many on here, happy to give CN credit when it's due after giving him stick when it wasn't. Think that's fair from all of us. |
 | Forum Reply | Lewis Moody - Englands Rugby Star diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at 03:53 7 Oct 2025
Prior to the 2003 RWC, England played Oz in the final game of their summer tour down under. Josh Lewsey legitimately tackled some Aussie toward the end of the game and absolutely poleaxed him to such an extent, that I think the Aussie was out for months. A report I read basically said the Aussie's injuries were consistent with being hit by a car. Since rugby turned pro, players have become faster at a time their weight has increased not due to flab, but muscle. The force they generate must be huge to what players in the amateur days could generate. Bigger impacts which they must be regularly subjected to since playing high level as boys. The human body cannot sustain that for 15-20 years and there not be higher risks of injuries down the line. |

Get in the lounge, a few sakes, put the seat in bed mode and see a big smile develop on his cherubic face as he drifts off to sleep. He'll be fine in no time. |

Quite right Holloway. As said above, it's not our problem, and I can't say I'm bothered either. What I saw of him, he was an unproductive Forrest Gump on his best days...and that's all I have to say about that! |

Easy question for me: he starts! Of the good points above, I'd add that it could also be a way to show AM that getting five bookings in eight games is stupid and here is the consequence of it: you don't just walk back into the Starting XI. Plus, against the Wall, it's bound to be a tasty affair and having a calm head at the back a wiser option than playing the bloke who's potentially a nutter. Albeit he's our nutter and already on the road to folklore status...'kin 'ave it!! |

Here's a thought: Some players thrive on competition, others struggle. He's coming back from injury and looks at the squad and sees about six blokes all with strong cases to be starting. Smyth, Kolli, and Saito called up for their national sides; Chair been a stalwart and played in a WC; Poku in just one game looked something; and Vale could top the pile! Maybe post-injury his returning to this cast of household galacticos in some countries, legends, and rising stars, the boy has just lost confidence! |

Family visiting and had to leave almost to the second BCFC scored. Upon arriving at the venue, I learn we've turned it around and gone up to 6th (sixth). What a tremendous league the Championship is. After running out of puff against Preston and Watford, and the massacre at FLCCFC, you can only but say: well done 'everyone' down there. There'll be rocky patches to overcome, there always is, but for now enjoy it in the knowledge that when this Rangers are on it, they're on it!! Well done QPR!! |

When in doubt, go to Loftipedia!! I've two UK work pensions that automatically trigger when I soon reach 60. Now I can't seek advice and if any of you are an advisor then you'll know you can't advise me, as I am in the EU. However, if anyone can let me know what are the perceived merits, or not, of taking the 25% tax free bit? They're both small pots and more cheery on top than key contributors to my future funding. Cheers to whomever clarifies what YouTube has left me somewhat confused about. |

Ahh, but did they specify which Wrexham game? 24 January, still a good three months away. |

I see the Aussie u20s beat the Argies, courtesy of a Bennie goal and a Pearman assist. |
