He can't possibly continue after that. The Scienze-Stephens sub was unforgivable and a sackable offence right there and then. It was obvious to everyone what would happen after that sub. And the Fraser sub was abysmal when you have a young striker who knows where the net is sat on the bench.

He has to be gone tonigh and bring Ralph back in.

Ralph wouldn't be a bad shout. He's a proven manager at a level above, so should be able to come up with a plan at this level. MY preferance would be Sam Allardyce though.

We need someone in by end of November to make a difference though. The new manager will need to figure out during December who he wants and who he doesn't want in the current team and go shopping in January for a Target man, a Goalkeeper and a creative midfielder. SR need to spend about 30 Million, but can't see them doing that considering what they wasted already.

In reality SR may cave into pressure and allow a Striker to be signed but can't see them getting the other 2 which is just as crucial.

My current take on the squad is :

GK - Required (our 2 are both awful)
LB - Required (manning as backup)
RB - Jelert (recall Bree as backup)
CB - Wood (Harwood Bellis as backup)
CB - Edwards (Quarshie as backup)
CM - Charles (Aribo as backup)
CM - Required (Jander as Backup)
LW - Scienza (wee man as backup)
RW - Fellows (Robinson as backup)
TF - Required (Stewart as backup)
AF - Armstrong (Archer as backup)

No place for Roerslev, Wellington, Edozie, D Downs, Stephens
Squad : Azaz, Masuki

I remember all too vividly how keen we were to see the back of Ralf. He didn't leave as a Saints legend but he was far from the worst manager. I doubt if he could get a tune out of this team under the present owners.

Trouble is SR want an inexperienced manager that doesn't stand up to them or go along with their idea's on who to sign.

I get the feeling Ralph is his own man. Not my first choice , but like I said we could do a lot worse!

Easy and negative way to fob off Ralph's time in charge. He did more good than bad.
