Trotman was on a two year deal. One of the most pleasing aspects of this deal is that we have freed up 12 months worth of wages by conducting this switch. I always worried the extra year on Trotman's contract would scupper the deal. |  | | |

Good bit of business, although Trotman was improving slightly before he left, he was still nowhere near what was required. He might have potential to be a good player when he's fit, he seems to have all the attributes technically, but in our current situation we can't afford any passengers and Holden is a solid central defender. With Darby coming back in at right back I'm optimistic with how it's shaping up with Beech in charge. |  | | |
