Let's be honest - bar one good season for Blackburn, he has never been prolific anywhere he's been and although only 30, I think he's had his day.
There are plenty of one-season wonders - that doesn't make them proven premier league goalscorers in my eyes either. If it does, I heard Michael Ricketts is looking for a club.
I'm obviously exaggerating to make a point. But I think there are better options out there. Is he better than what we've got? Probably. Is he going to score us 15+ goals a season? Not a chance if history teaches us anything. | | | |

I really hope we can sign 2 or 3 of the quality defenders we have been linked with, because none of the forwards we've been linked with are very prolific - so we won't be scoring many!
