Much better than our last two games but still pretty fortunate to come away with three points.

Freys pre sub warm up consisted of walking to the corner flag then half way back with hands on hips stared at the manager then a short stretch. Came off uninjured.

Nobody died.

Not sure what this means but it means something.

Hoopstar - absolutely agree. He is a 9. By all means play two up front, but this is NOT two up front; it is a CF behind a Striker.

At last a win Let's hope they are like buses and another one comes along on Saturday
We are now seeing some quality performances all over the pitch but still with a few adjustments needed
The work rate of Stewart combined with his goals shows why we bought him With Arma it could well be worth 40 goals for the season
Defensively there is still a sign that they lack experience but by Christmas that should be gone
We now have one more point than we had after 8 games 2 years ago If we end the season with one more point than 2 years ago it could well be an auto spot

QPR delivered a composed and effective performance away from home. Their attack was dangerous, with Burrell proving decisive; the supporting cast https://retrobowl26.org like Vale and Kone kept the momentum going. The defense and midfield did enough to prevent serious threats, though there’s room for consistency and solidity in those areas. All in all, a strong showing and a deserved 3-1 victory.

A game that dragged like a seal's ringpiece and wasn't enlivened by a goalkeeping error that made Nardi look the kind of stupid rarely seen outside of high-level idiot conventions or US politics. Bright spots were hard to come by but Rhys Norrington-Davies played was solid throughout, bringing the ball forward well and linking with Saito to good effect. Madsen's performance continued on its recent, steady upward trajectory and he deserved his goal, when it came. Other than that, the only things that stood out to me were a ref that was determined to give me an aneurysm and a sublime one two from Burrell for Kone. Regrettable, forgettable and one more time Barry sodding Bannan has made us look like the St Winifred's under 11 girls team (second XI): just retire already!

At eight times zones away, I confess that until yesterday I'd not got to see the lads play since the Wrexham match. Yesterday we looked organized, and I didn't think Boro offered much going forward. (Their goal doesn't go in without that freak deflection.) I have to say, though, that it didn't look like we were playing with any strikers; we were ghosts at best in the attacking third. Until we can find people who can reliably put the ball in the net i don't see us proceeding very far up the table.

A poor game of football decided by 2 moments of madness. The first Count Nardi's curious decision to come for an out-swinging cross that was never there to be claimed. The second a naïve handball from B-T Cadamarteri. In this match QPR returned to performing for just 25-30 minutes. The intensity and fluidity of the previous 3 games just wasn't there. Meanwhile Barry Bannon continues to demonstrate what a class act he is at this level, pulling strings like a master puppeteer. The low fee kick towards the end showed a guile that has been missing from QPR's midfield for several years. Still, after 3 consecutive wins, a point away from home is not to be sniffed at even if the performance was one to forget. As in life, in football everything is relative. The best way to get over a poor performance at Wednesday is to win on Wednesday. Back it up with 3 points against Oxford and this'll look like a great point. COYRs.

A good performance but too many good chances wasted. If Saints can use this to find a new level of confidence and coolness in front of goal, we have the making of a far better team.

Lots to like about the performance. All 3 CBs won the vast majority of their battles, Azaz and Fellows were involved in everything good going forwards and Azaz just needs to sort his shooting out. What a difference it makes having a focal point to the attack - Ross Stewart didn’t get everything right but won a good number of flick ons which just needed Arma, Azaz or Fellows to gamble on. The equaliser was an odd one and from my angle I thought it was a decent block by Wood so would like to see it again. Keep playing that way, the partnerships will develop and the results will come.

I agree about the ref. I think Boro players could have caught the ball and it not have been given handball. Dreadful.

We were definitely the better team today and other than that age old problem of not putting chances away looked much nearer to the team we want to be
Every player was worth his place and he should persevere with tha starting eleven
Ross Stewart put himself about and looked just about drained when he came off but has earned another start
Of the subs Robinson looked lively and should be the natural replacement/sub for Fellows
Fellows however should be one of the first names on the team sheet
Special note to the referee:- Players other than goalkeepers are NOT allowed to control the ball with any part of their hand or arm We had a clear penalty shout in the second half and a good half a shout in the first half

Much more like it.

Well done Will. A win would have been great but a point off the form team is great.

The back 3 looked solid, Quarshie and Wood were physically immense.

Not sure McCarthy stood much chance with their goal, a really fast spinning deflected ball.

Fellows showed some really nice touches and Arma hustled non stop. Stewart pur himself in all the right positions and played well.

Hopefully our season is now underway. COYR.

This game will give Will a selection headache for sure I'm hoping it spells the end of Stevens as a first choice player All 3 of last nights centre backs are better than him
Jelert looks a better bet than Mads and if fit Jander should start alongside Charles Unfortunately Flynn still wants to play the short pass game
How do you choose between Scienza,Azaz or Robinson All 3 deserve to start
The major disappointment was D Downes He doesn't look remotely likely to become a 10 goal a season player
Tell McCarthy just to put the ball into Row R. Other than that gaff I thought he ha a reasonable game
At least we saw signes that we have a team and hopefully we will soon start winningk

We badly need a new keeper, who can dominate in the box. That’s paramount in this league if you want to fight for promotion.
