 | Your Report | Bristol City v Southampton Your Report added by Bowlercow at 11:28:47 Will Still will get the stick fir this but how can you blame him for Archers miss orScienza hitting the bar The set up worked initially but we collapsed once they scored and got bullied by their vsub |
 | Your Report | Bristol City v Southampton Your Report added by templarinexile at 11:14:32 The City goals came from 2 individual errors and a big slice of luck. The Saints misses came from several individual errors - notably Archer, and had no luck at all. Add in that we are bunch of lightweights - look at how their sub bullied our centre backs - and that we have no confidence once a goal is conceded and look dispirited and lost, then the result is no surprise. I don't absolve the manager from all blame, but the simple fact, to me, despite what some say, is that very few of our players are good enough or man enough, even in the championship. As so many have already remarked, continued bad recruitment will be the death of us. |
 | Your Report | Bristol City v Southampton Your Report added by SaintPaulVW at 06:30:43 Good first half, appalling second half. It was always going to be a tough game to get something from but making daft mistakes really did for us. I'll be really happy if we never repeatedly pass from side to side again. |
 | Your Report | Bristol City v Southampton Your Report added by mascott514 at 23:00:59 I am generally a patient person, and hate the constant managerial turnarounds etc. But our club is in a mess. I don't feel it's Will still that is the issue. I think it's recruitment. You always need a bit of luck when you bring in lesser known players, and that is getting harder as more clubs are snapping up talent for big money on the off chance. ?But that cannot be the story here. The team is made up of under performers, regardless of where they have played. I want them all to do well, of course for my club, but there are some shockers I feel Dragan needs to get some investors in that demand a change in direction. And Spors has to be gone |
 | Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Millwall Your Report added by Geoff78 at 22:03:21 Agree with much of the previous post. We played 2 big men up front (though Kone's not that tall)) and kept hitting crosses that the Millwall defence mostly dealt with easily. I assume Saito and Burrell didn't start because of their international travels, but it showed how important they've become to us. We were much better when they came on. Frey was poor and it was a shame not to give Kolli an opportunity. Should we conclude Stefan isn't convinced by him? Not sure if Nardi was at fault for the first goal, but our defence was all over the place. In fact, Rs weren't that bad but didn't have much luck and the ref wasn't prepared to give a penalty. I thought there was at least one very good shout. I also thought Burrell might have been offside for the consolation goal. |

 | Your Report | Queens Park Rangers v Millwall Your Report added by Malintabuk at 12:27:55 Thought it was good fayre for the championship to be honest, but we lost so will never give it a high marking Thought Smyth and the first 25 minutes was the best we played all season... and we should have made that count. Unfortunately the game plan seemed to be ... sling crosses into the box as heading practice for Jack Cooper, who was thier MOTM for me The 2 goals, especially the second, killed us off really... and though we huffed and puffed, the result was never really in doubt Thought the selection was strange... and if there was ever a game for our nippy little men... this was the one. Lobbing crosses into the box was not the right option Debate about Nardi.should he have come, was a little harsh on him to be honest. Smyth was our MOTM... closely followed by Dembele... A frustrating day at the office.. play worse and win... just didn't happen for us on the day |
 | Your Report | Southampton v Swansea City Your Report added by YosemiteSaint at 19:09:16 Admittedly, though I had high hopes for this match, I also wasn't holding my breath, because the autumn international breaks don't do the club matches immediately following them any favors. Too often it feels like everyone's back at square one upon returning to the office, and part of me can't blame the players. (I honestly don't know how players can be expected to perform after having traveled halfway around the world for five days of traning/playing for another team, or spending a sleepy week at Staplewood playing table tennis.) Unfortunately for me, the economic bubble that is the international game shows no signs of bursting anytime soon. Until then, I'm afraid I'm likely to give each post-international-break match a miss. :-( |
 | Your Report | Southampton v Swansea City Your Report added by Boris1977 at 18:51:40 Sports Republic are a lower league multi club owning organisation. Whilst they are in charge the best we can hope for is mid table championship. Not the end of the world but their business model isn't capable of delivering sustainable top flight football. VOYRs |
