Looking at that at least the club are trying to stop Portsmouth fans from getting tickets - but I suspect a few will.
Nice to see they are also restricting more for the hospitality areas.
Also is this a hint of a bubble?
For this match, all Southampton supporters will need to enter via Britannia Road, Marine Parade or the Northam footbridge. Melbourne Street will be out of bounds for home supporters and will be for away supporters only. This will be the only way for away supporters to enter the stadium footprint
1. it’s a very easy journey around 4 hours and the ground is very easy to find 2. Plenty of parking though you’ll need to look around as there were 2 car parks next to each other one charge £20 the other £15 3. Easy to get a drink in a little pub 10-15 mins walk from the ground . 4. Hate to say it but my last 3 visits I have to say it’s got one of the best atmosphere from the home fans - makes it easier when you win and have plenty of songs to sing . 5. I find it easier to get away from Anfield than Goodison and back on the motorway by 5:50 .
Still relatively early in a 46 game season but the next 4 games could go a long way to shape our season :
Leicester City home Ipswich home Middlesbrough away Leeds home
3 games at home and only 1 away , 2 teams that their fans ( the majority of them )will expect them to bounce straight back up . 1 team that was one of the favourites and another team that finished the season long run of winning games .
Leicester my favourites to win the league , Ipswich id tip to finish 2nd , Leeds should be around the playoffs and Middlesbrough are struggling after relying on a lot of loan players last season .
Realistically we probably need at least 21 points from 17 games to stay up . Or just over 1.2 points a game which equates to 46 points over a season . Something we haven’t managed since the 2019/2020 season with arguably better players .
I’m stuggle to see where we will get them from :
Wolves H Chelsea A Leeds A Leicester H Man U A Tottenham H West Ham A Man City H Crystal Palace H Arsenal A Bournemouth H Newcastle A Notts Forrest A Fulham H Brighton A Liverpool H
Brentford H still to be arranged
Hopefully we can but it’s going to be a very big ask
I know normally tickets go on sale later then normal for the 1st game of the season but with just over 2 weeks till we KO at Everton no news as to if we will get any tickets or of away fans will still be £30 .
Had a look on the Everton website at the weekend abd they still wernt selling match tickets for our game either .
