Top 3 awaydays which should be great but where we inexplicably usually lose
at 15:40 22 Oct 2025

And as they are beating us you can be sure Nathan would have told the Charlton fans to sing “ Nathan jones your football is shlt” just to rub it in.

Southampton At Bristol City The Verdict
at 11:21 22 Oct 2025

We are not going to be any where near the top 6 this season be it it in 4 games or 24 games.

Still team is not all of a sudden going to get 9 or 10 points from our next 4 games
:
Blackburn A, Preston H, QPR A and Sheffield W H.

A well run club would make the change now and have the replacement in place by 5 pm.

The trouble is under Dragan and the loons the next appointment will be another failure just like most of the others.

We’ve not hit rock bottom yet with these loons in charge , and until there is a change of ownership things aren’t going to change for the better.

Who Is Off To Bristol Tomorrow
at 17:32 20 Oct 2025

Yep popping along to this , driving up as well.

Not the best place to visit on a weeknight.

They are mounting another play off challenge so we will do well to get a point.

Agree with what you have written here, and it’s a case of when Still gets the sack not if.

Southampton V Swansea City The Preview
at 15:22 17 Oct 2025

This is what some fans craved for - mid table championship.

I think we should win hopefully but it wouldn’t surprise me if we drew again after taking the lead .

All a win does for Still is keep him on a job a bit longer until he gets the sack .

I said it before I think Still will get the sack the moment our play off chances are mathematically out of reach so probably around April time . He’ll get the odd result here and there to not justify sacking him earlier.

Dragan and the lunatics will appoint llalana for the last few games before appointing another dud next summer .

Constant Re-Shuffling Is The Cause Of Southampton's Problem's
at 18:11 15 Oct 2025

I’d say we have a squad of good championship players but no standout players .

We could all name a team of 11 they’d all be different and it would be hard to argue against it.

Add in a poor manager with good championship players and doesn’t lead to a play off challenge it leads to where we are now - mid table .

Have to agree it was embarrassing, when he realised he could actually get to the Skates started slowing down. Much to their amusement.

Not sure the security team should get much praise as he could have got a lot further if he hadn’t stopped .

Not sure what goes on in people’s head as it’s obvious a ban would come.

Whatever he had he should stop taking or drinking it.

Rickie Lambert- the 1 million pounds striker
at 17:46 12 Oct 2025

Lambert was arguably the best ever signing we have made as a club in the last 40 years or so.

As the song went his goals certainly took us to the premier league.

As for Dragan, well he certainly has fvcked us up and spent a fortune doing so. It would not be as bad if we are where we are by not spending much.

Still there are some fans that are happy to be in the championship .

Free Tickets - Out of control ?
at 17:23 8 Oct 2025

Every time you log in to buy away tickets on the 1st day of sale there are blocks of seats already greyed out .

There was a block of around 200 seats empty at Hull .

So I’d definitely say the club hold back or give away tickets for free that don’t get taken up .

As for Sheffield I can quite believe they gave away tickets as a coach carrying ex players who were sat in the away end in prime seats ( Benali and coach were just to the right of me) .

The club gave travel with Midnite 1 coach was for “normal” fans and a 2nd one had the ex players and other special guests on .

It’s the same for home games , the club say it’s sold out but there are always plenty of seats empty ( more then just ticket holders who couldn’t make it)

Sack the manager
at 11:37 5 Oct 2025

It’s worrying just how many of our fans are accepting of our position of a lower mid table 2 nd division club.

Dragan and the loons tell us how difficult it is to be a premier league club, this despite us being a established premier league club when the loons took over and small clubs like Bournemouth , palace and Brighton to name a few putting that myth to bed.

The loons tell us how near on impossible it is for a championship club to go up and survive , this dispite both Leeds and Sunderland putting that myth to bed. Fvck me even Burnley are. 1/4 of the way to our points telly last season.

Dragan and the loons are crap at running a football club but they’ve done wonders convincing some fans a lower 2nd division place is a good achievement.

Sack the manager

Agree another dud appointed by Dragan and the loons.

We have not improved since Still has come in and he’s had plenty of time, he’s even had a month the players he supposedly wanted .

He’s run out of excuses, which he always seems to come up with.

Under him we will finish bottom half and the problem is now we’ve wasted a season of parachute payments as I can’t see the loons sacking him anytime soon and appointing someone that will have to hit the ground running if we were to challenge for that 6 th place.

Time for Still to go ?
at 09:23 5 Oct 2025

2 answers are the same really our play off chances under Still have gone so sack him now?

The loons at the top won’t sack him though until they are mathematically out of reach.

Derby v Saints matchday thread...

Does anyone still believe we are going to scrape into the playoffs with Still and this team?

We look like a lower mid table side and that’s exactly where the table shows us.

Sack the manager

Unfortunately I can’t see him getting the sack until our play off chasing chances are mathematically impossible.

I’m guessing the loons at the top will sack him in early April and appoint Lallana and Trollope until the end of the season.

Then appoint another dud in the summer.

Blackburn away
at 18:25 2 Oct 2025

It seems since covid every thing has gone up, but the cost of coaches ( especially by the club who should run them to break even or even at a small loss) have rocketed.

£46 or £48 if you are not a season ticket holder is a lot of money, especially for families.

I know there are a couple of other coach providers and I’ve no issue with them making a bit on each coach ( after all they go out of their way to run them) but the club ones should be cheaper.

Saints aren’t the only club to what would seam to be more money making schemes from the supporters.

My thoughts on last night
at 17:39 1 Oct 2025

Got indoors just after 3 this morning.

The 1st half was nearly as bad as we have been, seemed to be very slow in moving the ball forward not helped at times by our lack of movement.

Not sure McCarthy was at fault for the goal as Nick suggested, I guess it’s one of the goals if you hate the keeper then it’s his fault , if it was another keeper then it wasn’t his fault.

The goal came about by giving the ball away in midfield ( Jander) then the CB ( Quarshie) getting done by the forward .

To our credit we got ourselves a penalty - is that Armstrong 1st miss from the spot for us?

To Stills credit ( or luck) the half time subs made us more attacking and Stewart’s 2 goal were both taken well - a true strikers instinct .

Still subs towards the end seemed to take away our attacking threat and invited Sheffield on to us.

Did really well to hold on in the end and as others have said the ref blew his whistle way before the disallowed goal was scored.

Leicester City points deduction

You just know that with Dragan and his clowns running the show we would be the only side to break the FFP rules and still get relegated. ( before any point deduction)

Northam yesterday
at 10:01 28 Sep 2025

I thought the Northam were quite load yesterday and sung a few different songs , OWTS, Come on you reds, the Tom follows chant that most seemed to join in with, Adam Armstrong one and of course that terrible Alez Alez one.

The main problem is we just haven’t got enough different songs that are easy to song along to.

2 points above relegation spot

2 big games coming up against Sheffield United and Derby . Need to win at least one to pull away from the bottom 3 .

Should have too much to get too involved in a relegation scrap but if we are not carful we could be in one .

Think it’s 3 wins from our last 45 league games.

I’ve a feeling he’ll go with 5 at the back again, who he plays at the back will depend on who gets picked out the hat.
