I think he sulked and went downhill like many others like many others , he’s only a kid but I’ve no doubt he will play for a big club in the foreseeable future and with the right people around him will go far . |

The bookies know that we have a good group of decent championship players . You only need good championship players to get you out of the championship. I see the skates are one of the favourites for the drop. About right . |

Have a great trip Mate. I’m not sure cruising is for me either. I tried my first cruise last year to Portugal, France and Spain .The highlight was walking on Gold beach and seeing various sites from WW 2 there which was great but I’m not sure about the whole cruise experience . I’m not sure I want to spend that much time with all those people lol. Dave Merrington was on our cruise and I briefly chatted to him on the Normandy trip as he was sat on our lunch table. Enjoy your Anniversary. 👍 |

Why is seeing 5 cup finals and seeing us finish runners up top league and win the FA cup mundane ? . You’ve only seen Mickey Mouse cups and one FA cup. . I’ve also seen Europe several times how’s that mundane. ? Being interviewed outside the San Siro was pretty good too. You’ve seen nothing like that and never will. Go and read your history book that’s all you’ve got. I’ve got memories. You are weird. [Post edited 27 May 23:15]

Oh I dunno. I would say even more embarrassing is finishing many years below your neighbours, taking 10 years to get out of a pub league , playing in a shed, your fans smashing your own city up and punching police horses, having to train amongst dog Shyte at Eastleigh’s training ground because that’s all you had, robbing charities and having a pissed up clown as your figurehead. 😃😏 |

Preston and Wrexham the only grounds I haven’t been to in top two divisions. Fans will need loads of away credits for Wrexham . |

Yep agree cocklebreath. I heard all the moaning last season before RM was announced but I had an open mind then and lo and behold he got us promoted and we went on a 25 game unbeaten run . I have an open mind about Will Still too. He sounds a promising appointment and he has many admirers from what I’ve read. Yes it’s a risk but I like the sound of this Spors chap and I think he could shake things up here a bit . Some Fans need to be more realistic as we are no longer a big attraction. |

It’s all done and dusted Nick, it’s Still . Announcement imminent. |

Apparently all terms have been agreed and they want him in before the Arsenal game. Just compensation to sort out . |

Saints would not pay to have an experienced proven manager, they would cost more than they are willing to pay. I think you can forget people like Dyche, Cooper etc . You would think SR would pull out all the stops and get a proven manager in considering the shambles of managers we’ve had lately and they still might do but unlikely. It will be Rohl or Still I think . |

That sounds fantastic Dirk until you analyse it. Another way to look at the stats of the competition is as follows. In the last 25 years Portsmouth, Wigan, Leicester and now Palace have won the FA cup. The remaining 21 years the FA cup has been won by the biggest and richest clubs in England with some of those clubs winning it several times in that period . |
