Just had DPD make a delivery to my house.
The driver rang the door bell, waited about a second and put the parcel on the doorstep.
Then, took a photo of the house next door, got in his van and left.
I then got a message from DPD saying you parcel has been left at number so and so with Richard.
Two things,
1) There is no Richard at that number,
2) The parcel was left on my own doorstep,
Luckily our street has a Whatsapp group, so i put out a message and the lady across the road confirmed the parcel was still on my own doorstep and took it in for safe keeping. |

Apparently on the 2nd April 1991 we played a match against MSL (Meath & District schoolboys league U17) Representative Selection at Ratoath Park.
Can anyone shed any light on the outcome? |

Does anyone one know which clubs (apart from us) are next in line for a points deduction under FFP and is there a maximum deduction assuming we can't ask the EFL to dish 30 and 40 pointers. |

Please don't shoot, i'm only asking.
Apart from numbers produced by an accountant who is probably on a nice touch, where is the proof that anyone is ploughing £18m a year into us.
The ground is falling apart and the squad wages cannot be anything more than
15 players at £6k ave. a week x 52 = £4.6m a year plus some blue paint is £5m tops, whack on 30 members of staff on an ave. of £30k a year is another £1m with benefits possibly £2m.
I just don't see where that money goes unless there are some serious dividends going out and i've not even thrown in gate and tv money.

As a ST holder and a regular since 1979 ('kin hell) this team has the worst collective spirit i think i've seen, individually i think most would get into other championship sides but put them together and its the 'Anti Midas syndrome'.
Generally a mediocre team has a run of WLDDLWLDLWLWLDLW, we went WWWWW to LLLLL and it would appear that managers aren't necessarily the problem.
So my question is 'Is a DOF worth having and if so who?'
Rather than buying new players do we just buy a decent DOF(nothing against LF i don't know if he's a decent DOF or not) and start from scratch. |

I actually quite like playing against them.
A bit of animosity, a good atmosphere and they usually sell out.
Our record against them also sits in the positive bracket.
I know their ground is a hovel and their fans are a bit special but i'd rather play them than a lot of other teams.
P.s. i am old enough to remember the cup replay in '88 'twas a bit lively that night. |
