My dad was born in 1887. Moved to London in 1903 and first saw the Rangers at park Royal circa 1905, when lodging in Horn lane Acton. My son, grandson and great grandson will all be supporting in the future.
I first got hooked with my dad in the '46/47 season.
I left there in '53. At that time the balls were so heavy that Bannan's shot could not have happened. Many more goalmouth scrambles though back in those days usually in mud baths.
