I will be there at the wrong end as my daughters boyfriend and dad are Swans season ticket holders and sitting with them. So will be sitting on my hands when we win, which I did 2 seasons ago widen Cook scored. Hoops shirt under a sweatshirt. |

If Madsen was injured or even struggling from a 3 game week, I would play Vale there. Second best passer in the team |

Great debate. Squad strength so obvious, to be discussing what happens if Madsen gets injured as a potential problem pretty unbelievable. Personally. think Harvey Vale is the answer to that conundrum, second best passer in the team.. Thanks guys |

The Spaceman has landed back on planet QPR This is not going to be an easy one, not helped by the fact that they obviously won’t have had as many players away on international duties, surprised they are let out of South London at all bar away games. Serious police presence, Uxbridge Road split into 2, we hate them, they don’t care, got to be 2-1 followed by even more police presence, Uxbridge Road a bit more scary, but we don’t care. Fancy Steve Cook getting one |

Great point about training facilities being so close |

Not a fan of international breaks but if you believe the press this break ensures Chair and Poku are fit to return and even JCS, definitely Mbengue. So the mad possibility that Walsh is the only injured 1st teamer. Let’s play that game “ Who misses out” Thinking Hayden or Sam are at risk of not being on the bench for a home game. Mbengue on the bench as Cooky really looked like his old self. RND ahead of Esquerdinha so does our Brazilian miss out completely. Smythy, Vale, Saito, Dembele, Poku, Chair, Kolli? I think the starting 11 picks itself but the options on the bench make for tough decisions for our favourite Frenchman. Nice problem to have |

I’m thinking half the DS is out on loan? Interesting balance between building a team and best experience. Maybe why such a young team out |
 | Forum Reply | COOK at 12:53 5 Oct 2025
Must start, another captain on the pitch and liable to score a goal. I think bar Esquardihna he has the hardest shot in the team, his timing of kicking a ball is so good with no effort. |

I get the rotation but not the choice of who. Surely Kieran Morgan deserved to play in the middle 2, Odds on Burrell and Frey starting Saturday. I actually thought Frey played well and great to see Steve Cook fit with JCS and Mbengue out tomorrow. |

So that doesn’t look good, he isn’t taking us for a ride, genuinely feels sorry for him. As Clive often says players are with us for a reason, if his fitness had been reliable he would be in the Prem. Sam Field came with a similar prognosis and JCS was here before Ben Williams. Sad really Gonna need Steve Cook soon |

Paddy Jeff is right basically Patreon doesn’t work for me and had their tech support ( in the States I believe) unable to resolve but works perfectly on Spotify where it automatically linked up. Andy |

100% bosh. He seems to have that positivity / leadership / not even sure what the right word is. His first match under the lights, my favourite, hoping a full house raises the team. Suspect quite a few changes and JCS, Illy and Poku all close |
 | Forum Reply | Owl be seeing them in League One Sheff Wednesday Vs QPR match Thread at 12:29 27 Sep 2025
Out of all the matches between the 2 international breaks this and Oxford are theoretically the least difficult. But we are QPR so conversely makes them the most difficult to predict, a massive but is I think this squad has less soft underbelly and therefore I am predicting a 1-3 win. |

Tough stuff and tough read, well written, hoping it won’t happen but imagine they can’t fulfill their fixtures, what happens with the points from played games? Thinking this might be a reality. Also wondering why they haven’t had a points deduction already? Last weeks result for them was a miracle, my head is saying miracles don’t happen twice. Anyone know the answers to the two questions? |

So will JCS time his return to full fitness with Mbengue’s impending ( it is gonna happen in the next few weeks) suspension? Seem to remember 5 bookings in your first 20 odd matches and you are out for a game, though I could be wrong. |

Great report Clive. The Mbengue challenge to us looked like, and sounded like, they both kicked the ball at the same time. Couldn’t believe the photo we all saw yesterday, shows how hard it is to referee the championship as we thought he got it spot on, stopping the game to make sure no one was hurt after a 50/50. Need JCS back in time for his suspension. |
