That’s a really well written report Jamie, thank you.
Grimes, Torp and Rudoni were excellent for them, but they literally could have played in their club suits.
Our midfield 3 were all over the place, as evidenced by the 2nd goal, when Morgan gave the ball away from fullback. What was he doing out there when we’re trying to keep things compact. That was just one small example.

I’d say Clive Allen was the best finisher.
I don’t remember Givens scoring as many goals but it’s a long time ago. I do remember he was integral to the team, but even in those days there were a few boo boys.
Les was class. Could pretty much do anything. Equivalent of our Haarland from back in the day.

That was a real blast from the past. I used to play in the same team as Billy Beggs on a Sunday for a while and we got married on the same day in 1994.
Alan used to lodge at my best mate’s Nan and Grandad’s when he was in the youth team - as did Ian Stewart. He used to help my Dad run a few training sessions when I played for Larkspur. Alan even came and watched us a few times on a Sunday morning. I have a suspicion that sometimes he came directly from a Saturday night out based on his smart attire,
He also used to get us complimentary tickets in the directors box to watch him play for the reserves. Some great memories of a lovely guy |

I tried using Edge on my laptop and it didn’t bring up any of the purchase options, even though It let me select 2 tickets. Tried using the iPad and no problems. If you haven’t got an iPad or iPhone maybe try using Chrome or internet explorer? |
