I don’t care what your politics are, what you do in the bedroom or where your ancestors hail from, the only metric is an ability to make me laugh. Why do some assume what my politics are over my dislike of certain comedians and that I’d disagree with Flanagan over his comments on King Charles? I don’t.

As for bicycle seat sniffing, I have no idea what you’re talking about.

Yes, comedy is definitely subjective. I detest Stuart Lee. He’s the most smug comedian I’ve ever seen. Being ‘clever’ is no substitute for actually making people laugh. He’s as funny as a turd in a swimming pool.
Special mention also goes to Nish Kumar; a prime example of sociopathic levels of self confidence married to no discernible talent whatsoever. Ditto Joe Lycett, dire.

Best comedian of the last 20 years was early Micky Flanagan.

At the moment all heavyweight boxing is just a sideshow to the rise of Moses Itauma.

I was thinking Gillingham. His local team, Ainsworth, they’re in the play off places, could be a nice fit as long as he’s assured lots of minutes.

As long as this Ainsworth team aren’t passing the ball from defence straight to attack and missing out the midfield!

Yes, I really like Morgan. It’s a shame to see him on the bench. Maybe a loan out in January might be best…if we can spare him.

I was thinking of a rather more immediate alternative.

We have 2 or 3 players per position across the pitch but I’d say the only position where we’re short (not a team of midgets comment) is in having a player that could replicate Madsen’s role. Varane, Field and Hayden I don’t think have the technical ability or vision to do what Madsen does and it would be a stretch for Morgan to fill his shoes. It’s too much of a deep lying role for Chair, although I think he could make a decent go of it, likewise Vale who would be my pick as his nearest replacement.
If Madsen does continue to play as he is and begins to attract interest from other clubs or, God forbid, he gets injured who could replace him?

Reminded me of playing against 9 man Chelsea. That was a pretty dire performance.

Cruising against 10 men, 1 nil up. There’s a growing knot in my stomach.

I dread this time of year. My dog is fortunately currently reasonably chill by his standards. I think the pills, Hemp oil and Classic FM blaring next to his ears may be doing the trick. Thank God.
