What the heck do I know? You're a genius, Julien.

Ah, this team. Just bonkers.

Much improved. Long may it continue. I'd like to see a bit more creativity going forward and some goals but that's me being a bit greedy.

Not only that but selfless players looking to cross. Saito and Dembele guilty of trying to do it alone in the first half. the result? Zero shots on target. Subs Smyth and Vale the complete opposite. Looking to pass and provide. Vale with 2 crosses for the opening goal, one left foot, one right. Smyth with excellent link up play in the build up to the second and a fine header from a Dunne cross. The result? 2 shots on target, 2 goals, thank you very much, and goodnight Bristol.

As I said earlier, poor decision making in the final third. Vale comes on, delivers a quality cross and it's 1-1. Team work makes the dream work.

Yet more poor decision making in the final third. 2 teammates in the box and he tries to shoot through 3 defenders. Quickly followed by a heavy touch when in a promising position.

To a point, yes. However, once in the last third, poor decision making and selfishness kicks in. Whilst Bristol City play the obvious pass and cut the ball in from the byeline, QPR players ignore the obvious pass and go it alone. Dembele, Burrell and Saito all guilty of this first half. The result? Zero shots on target. It's a team game and there's no I in team.

There's undoubted natural talent there but he's not applying it in he right way. Simple things too. For example, I lost count of the number of times in the first half against Oxford that Kone was collecting the ball on the right wing and Dembele was strolling through the middle. I want our striker in the box and our winger on the wing. With Julien's reputation for developing players, hopefully he can coach some game smarts into him.

Oxford was the 2nd of those 3 matches. Given the opposition, the fact that we were at home, the stern test we face this Saturday against an opposition who played a day earlier, and our recent record in the 3rd game of a 3 match week, I'm inclined to agree with you. We should've gone for it against Oxford and then looked to the likes of Field/Hayden/Frey to shut up shop at Brizzle. But hey, Harry Hindsight is the smartest chap in town (cue Rangers nicking a win at AG).

More than likely he'll be ready in the new year when it's time to earn a new contract.

I understand the sentiment but not a fair comparison. Richard Dunne had had a stellar career before he joined QPR at the ripe old footballing age of 33. JCS has been plagued by injuries throughout his.

Esquerdinha is exactly 6ft tall. Norrington-Davies is 5ft 11".

He was immobile, slow and cumbersome. He won little in the air, didn't link up play, didn't work the channels, didn't get the team up the pitch, and refused to show for midfielders when asked. Granted he's been out but we mustn't be making excuses for players who are regularly injured. Lack of availability in itself is a problem, not mitigation for poor performances.

The trouble is we said that after Saturday. 'Beat Oxford and the point at Sheffield Wednesday is a good one'.

Funny how we see things differently. I thought Frey looked very rusty and was largely ineffective, especially offensively. I lost count of the number of time midfielders were shouting at him for not showing. That being said, I don't think it helped starting him alongside Kone, much in the same way pairing Field with Hayden didn't work.

Little to reflect upon. The very epitome of a 'Bore Draw'.
