First time since they upgraded the stadium and some surrounding businesses and I liked what I saw, especially in the stadium where those big 'wind tunnel' gaps, especially over the home end, have been closed in with massive tv screens. Nice evening out, few pints o' porter in The Harp before and after and an interesting last 30 mins of an otherwise disappointing football match, New England coming from three down to draw in the 93rd minute. Impressed with Carles Gil for the Revs, the most Barry Bannan type player I've ever seen, the man oozes class, bossed the midfield but let down time and time again by one-dimensional players occupying other places on his squad, though after match thoughts have me thinking the manager / head coach was probably part of the problem as the defence were woefully badly organized. For Colorado, the name that caught my eye was Reggie Cannon, I have to report that even at this level, he is no more than a lightweight. The stadium / area upgrades referred to above, result from a FIFA directive once the venue was selected as a World Cup venue, if anyone's visiting from parts abroad, I think you'll enjoy the match day experience.
