I doubt it.
But, think how long it took for Forest to get back up.
This might happen to saints. Just enjoy the journey.
SR, have invested in new players that may well cement our place as a solid mid table Championship side. This will be more than enough to avoid dropping a league or two. |

Well said. I was adamant from the start of the season that we needed at least two years to build a side for the top 6 in the Championship.
I was also clear that this season we would float around mid table.
This is exactly what is happening and no surprise.
We must be patient for the next two years or even longer. |

I always expected at least two seasons to get things right. I would not be surprised if we are in the Championship for even longer.
I would prefer we build gradually rather than a quick fix.
It is early days, but maybe this year will be Middlesbrough's year. Their fans have had to be patient. Was it 2017 they went down? |

I am being repetitive in saying this but I maintain that we will need two seasons to put right the mess of last season.
We will get there in the end. I will be content with mid table season finish this season if it seems we are making progress on building the team and squad. |

Also, lets be patient. It may take a while to turn things around. A good first season and promotion the next with a strong squad ready for the Premier league would be fine. |
